Killers Need A Way To Surrender
They shouldn't have to wait for the survivors to finish the game, and being able to take the game hostage. It wastes too much time and I would rather just play a different game other than waiting 10-15 minutes for 4 bullies to get their fill.

There is a way to surrender. Open the exit gate.
And if they have not done all 5 gens, then the game is not over.

Ok you dont really understand what is going on here it seems.
@OP yeah it would be fair but it would also just kill the game most likely sooo yeah probably not going ot happen. What you can do is indeed just play a different game while they finish their objectives or whatever and move on.
I tend ot just look on this forum for example or some youtube vids

The game is still not over when all gens are done.

I'd say maybe after 3 gens have been done you should have the option of opening the door yourself. But I don't want to encourage this since even with only 1 gen left the killer can still get a 4k.
Personally most of my wins end up with only 1 or 2 gens left so that shows how close to the end the game can get. Especially a cocky team can make many mistakes which led to you getting multiple kills.

Bring Noed. Survivors are mostly lazy and you can kill one of them in the end. Better then nothing.

You can't open the exit gate until all 5 gen's are done. Too many times I could even count when I get in game with SWF groups who are just being toxic and want to farm/bully the Killer will do 2-4 gen's and take the game hostage. The large amount of safe loops, and pallets in a match lets them do this eaisily and Killer's are completely powerless to stop it. The worst times is when they just take the game hostage by sabotaging all the hooks so even if you do down anyone you can't hook them. Try to slug and they will safe loop you till they can save each other. Good survivors can do this easily without any stress.
Survivors can just suicide on hook, but Killers are forced to DC to avoid hostage situations like these.
I've had a match where I would step away for an hour and a half (I watched an entire movie on Netflix) and the survivors are still in game clicking flashlights, teabagging, and notification spamming behind my killer I left in the corner. I would try to push them out the door at that point, but they still didn't finish the last gen. The game proceeded where I had to take the brunt of all their abuse till they finished maxing all their catagories, and then they finally finished the gen and let me leave. Ensuring to bad mouth in the end game lobby because I went afk and that was aparrently what anyone did wrong that game.
I like this idea, but if survivors abuse it like they do leaving 1-2 gens up, then I would suggest giving the Killer the option of opening the gates from the start of the match.
NOED in high ranks is useless, survivors cleanse all the totems, and totem locations are easy to remember. Unfortunately in my situation Hex perks are off the table. If it was a team of survivors where NOED would work on them, then I wouldn't have an issue with the survivors taking the game hostage in the first place.

Its called a mori.

Good survivors don't even get hooked once, but at the same time I don't want to premptively ruin everyone's games simply because i'm scared that every group of survivors are going to take the game hostage.

They won't abuse it. They could try but that could lead to them being beaten. As I said before I don't want them to give the killer a way to surrender since it doesn't make sense lore wise and they can still win even in bad scenarios.
So what your telling me is I wait 15 mins for a survivor game then the killer sees we have Rancid Abattoir as our map then opens the doors immediately? They shouldn't be able to open until they are basically beaten.
The killer is the power role, you should never give up hope of getting kills. No matter how unlikely it looks.

It would be funny as hell if you could sacrifice yourself to the entity as killer. "######### you entity, I can't take this ######### anymore, TAKE ME! "

Actually I meant, playing a mori is a killer surrendering. It is surrenders their opportunity to get better and makes the game ez mode. Wasn't trying to actually promote using a mori. Some times sarcasm doesn't come across in posts. lol

Doesn't make sense lore wise for survivors to give up either.
Really hate these "it's not realistic" or "doesn't work with the lore" crap justifying bad gameplay decisions.
This is a game, not a book. Gameplay comes before lore.

If it was something like the doors becoming available for the killer to open no matter what after 10-15 minutes or something I don't see any problem with that at all.
Most survivors will just do gens and leave if the killer gives up, and if they decide to mess around and keep the match going the killer can start EGC after not too long. And at the same time it doesn't allow for stuff like "I don't like this map, bye!" or easy deranking like being able to do it from the start would.

If that was the case then I would give up every time I get The Game map.
If the killer gets a heavily survivor sided map then they would give up all the time. No more playing on Strode or Asylum. Some players will even take the five minute ban because they refuse to play on a specific map, that’s how you know maps are screwed up.
It just wouldn’t work realistically because a lot of players hate certain maps and would give up and move on to the next match.

Can you blame them? Bad maps are hard enough, but mix sWFs in with it? It becomes unbearable, and you just want it over.

After a certain amount of game time has elapsed, I wouldn’t have a problem with killer opening the gate early. However that killer certainly can’t continue doing anything, so there would be no nonsense like opening the gate early and then downing and camping a survivor. That killer surrendered and can gain nothing at all afterwards. It has to be time based, not generator based, otherwise too many will be babies and open the gate way too soon.

Ok I understand what you mean but gameplay wise I don't think killers should be able to surrender. Even at the worst of times you can still get 1-2 kills.

If you can get 1-2 kills it isn't the worst of times

The fair thing would be that when survivors die on the hook, they stay on the hook until the game is over. The survivor must remain in the game until the match is over. Why do they get to suicide on hook and run to a new game. The entity pulled them into their current game and should hold them in it til all theirs mates either escape or die.
Its not fair that killer is stuck with a game to the end but not survivors. Just make everyone remain in the game until its all over.

Just D- Oh wait..

Or you could just try and get a kill

No they shouldn't. As a killer you're the equivalent(Used to be literal) of a host. If you don't got the willpower to finish a game as the host you shouldn't be playing killer at all. No need for me to add on a variety of other reasons why. That's more than enough from a game design standpoint. Want to leave? Click leave match and take the cooldown. Then settle for being as bad as a survivor that DCs.

It's called -7000 BP and Entity Displeased.

I've had survivors where they used every dirty trick and were toxic about it.
There are times where it is frustrating but as a killer, I just kind of know every so often I'm going to get stuck in these games. Keep calm, don't be stupid (if you've been chasing a 360er for example, don't keep lunging at them because you're frustrated and desperate, they'll dodge it with ease), and stay focused. Even against the cheesiest of cheesers, the killer can take someone out as long as you stay calm and focused.
I suppose that's not good enough for some people but I'll take my 1k against a group of super good survivors rather than take my ball and go home.
If they're taking the game hostage because they're literally just hiding I could understand it but at least in my experience, that's so incredibly rare that it's basically negligible.
