You can't compare Lithe to DS. (Statistics)
Lithe is a perk for free that survivors get on console. Laurie is a paid DLC that is her last perk that you have to get by leveling her up to level 40. Same with self care because all you have to do is start and you get self care to heal themselves. Like Otz said whats more common Noed or Bloodwarden with Noed being a free generic perk and BloodWarden having to be a paid dlc perk you have to level Freddy for. You need to look at the survivors actual games because looking at numbers doesn't work when your accounting for free perks like Selfcare/Lithe. This is why you don't trust the statistics and actually look at the power of a perk. If i apply pressure and somehow don't come across the last survivor till the end and then when i down them at the exit gates at the end i get Ds'd for "tunneling". Or i hook another survivor and this survivor who just got unhooked comes over unhooks i down them to punish them for doing something dumb and then i get DS'd for "Tunneling". This is why the devs say there's a lot of variables in statistics. Also for the "Eat the stun or slug them" well they counter slugging by jumping into the locker. And Eating it is basically telling me to tunnel and slow my momentum. (This can go for other perks as well DS is just one of the best examples of statistics because not everyones gonna spend the money on laurie).

I've been on these Forums for like a month and I've never seen anyone, ever, compare Lithe to DS, let alone mention it.

Peanits compared the two in terms of usage stats

DS is used a lot more than Lithe at red ranks. From my experience, Lithe is also the least used exhaustion perk at red ranks.

Exactly otz said they should show the perks at red ranks and see which is actually the top.

I thought they did show the top 5 most used in all ranks at least in the one collection of game statistics I know of. For ranks 1-4 the top 5 most used perks where Selfcare 13.59%, Deadhard 9.90%, Adrenaline 9.66%, Borrowed Time 8.42% and Iron Will at 5.49%.
Which is one of the reasons I'm always confused when Killers say they run into DS so much when it's not even in the top 5 most used perks. I mean is BHVR's stats wrong? So even with DS being a strong perk if Killers are running into it under 6% of the time I'd imagine it wouldn't be too much of a problem or breaking many games. But I'll genuinely admit maybe it's me and I just don't understand what I'm reading when I read the statistics.

I think a lot of it includes situational bias. If you're winning and nobody has DS you dont care. If the game is going south and a killer thinks "if I tunnel this guy out I can pull it back", only to get DS'd from it - you remember it a lot more and get bitter over it.

I'm not sure what the point of this post is honestly
Lithe and DS have nothing in common. And people use NOED more than Bloodwarden because Bloodwarden is kinda crap, it's got nothing to do with that fact that Bloodwarden is on a DLC character
The rest of your points are all over the place as well

Guess you havent seen peanits post saying lithe is used overall more then ds. Thats the point of this post.

I think by now the majority of players still playing this game have access to both perks. So to answer your question yes you can compare Lithe to DS. Both are used to escape the Killer and both are used a lot in matches.

Actually i know a couple people myself who dont have laurie (some people just dont spend money on games) and you cant earn laurie either so. Doesnt mean the perk isnt a problem though.

I'd agree with this. I rarely see Lithe at red ranks. DS I see all the time. I like that though. I tend to be a pressure killer who does not like wasting time rushing back to the hook unless it is already on my path. I rarely get hit with DS, so it is a wasted perk slot. I like facing 4 survivors with 3 perks.
I see DH and BL more than Lithe. Heck, Head On is more used than Lithe. Have seen more QQ and DWM lately.

I must be in a short minority then because I'm a rank 4 and I've always used Lithe.
