Snap out of it takes priority over throwing down a pallet??
When playing against the doctor I went to throw down a pallet right in front of me while he was just readying a shock and I went to snap out of it instead twice when I spammed it, can we have different keybindings for different prompts so I don’t have to deal with this crap all day. Console btw (and we have so many buttons that aren’t in use don’t say console doesn’t have enough buttons for so many different functions)

The only thing I can think of is:
Maybe when you let go of the snap out of it action> got an unlucky skill check and failed> screamed and it locked you out of any action.

You can change the buttons in the options.
So pallets will use a different button

You can try holding sprint to circumvent this - you shouldn't be able to snap out of it while sprinting. It's like how you can use Dead Hard while "standing still" even if you're just holding sprint.
Is there a way to adjust keybindings so they're different? I'm not too familiar with the options on console.
The scream doesn't cancel pallet throws, as far as I know. On consoles, those actions use the same keybind by default.

I tried changing my controls hopefully it works (I don’t know yet) gonna be frustrating cuz I’m so used to my other one, 2 years of muscle memory with this game

Not full, also ya frustrating to pick out a proper control setup because if you use any of the XO(triangle, square) buttons for interactions you give up your right stick to look around which at high level play is detrimental, if you try to switch L1 as your run button to L3 it’s difficult to get those precise turns on corners. Really frustrating tryna figure out a good setup, I got something but I can’t use items :(
