Why are so many survivors toxic with malicious intent

Like seriously you come into a match with a purple flashlight and ooo and do nothing but t bag and flashlight click, who gets entertainment from others suffering ?

The type of Survivors that do that stupid flashlight clicking and t-bagging are the type of Survivors who have never even touched Killer. I remember being a toxic Survivor, but after around 20 games of Killer I stopped doing that immediately.

But it also goes both ways. Many Killers are also toxic, it's not just Survivors. Just because I ran you around for 3 generators does not give you the right to sit there and face camp me and "gen rush" is never an excuse. If you're tired of getting "gen rushed" then you should leave the hook and apply pressure on the map instead of going afk for 2 minutes.

More on the survivor side tbh. I encounter way more toxic bully swf squads as killer than a hole killers as survivor

    Not really.

Remember, there are 4 survivors in each game but only 1 Killer. Sure the rate of idiots on Survivor Side is bigger.

And, you will remember the one toxic Survivor in your game, but not the three guys who were playing nice.

It is not just survivors that are toxic. In my past games I had a Plaque who hooked me and just faced camped me and kept throwing up on me. Then next match I had a face camping Spirit who kept hitting me while I was on hook and I did nothing at all. It wasn't like I did a great chase or we did many gens. We only had 2 gens done and both these killers just kept hitting me. I mean I do not like camping but repeat hitting someone on the hook is the same to me as survivors T-bagging.

I do not like either and will not do it myself. I actually root for my teammates when they do t-bag to get killed because I see no reason to be toxic.

Yeah from time to time, i see a killer who just loves to stare at their victim. Do nothing else and just let gens get done and let everyone be until their current victim dies. It not even end game, where the gates are being open and the survivors have to make the choice between escaping or going back to save their team mate. It like they do it to the first person they find and just hand the win over to the others. That or everyone just kills themselves on hook, to get the game over and done with sooner. Thinking there is no hope.

I don't even mind the camping. I mean okay camp me and I will do my best to stay there as long as possible to let my team do gens. It is the part when they keep hitting or throwing up on me. Killers complain survivors T-bag but them doing that is the same thing. It is like them saying HAHA I GOT YOU!

I do have to say though I love the people that camp but then complain gens go to fast. It is like weeeelllll instead of camping me go apply pressure. If you had maybe not camped me maybe my team would have been able to leave a gen and save me instead of working on a gen. lol

Yeah if they had gone and done something else, i think they would of gotten more blood points [everyone could use a few more blood points] from hitting other people or chasing them. Heck there is a recent video Ohm uploaded the other day. That shows yes, there are face camper killers out there. https://youtu.be/iWLf0ezuvNg

Honestly if the killer does any of this I will tbag and or flashlight spam them... Which just so happens to be about 70% of my games.

    1. Play the doctor

    2. Tunnel or camp

    3. Use a mori

    4. Chase me for a long time and will not leave me alone to go chase someone else

Survivors have been coddled since the creation of this game, reinforcing their sense of entitlement.

The theme of the game is a killer toying with their prey, there's even perks that quite literally say this (play with your food) but the reality is that survivors have been designed to be so strong that when you spend enough time playing and learning survivor, you can get to the point where a killer just simply cannot catch you without losing the game. The inverse is not true, in that good survivors will always wreck a good killer with the best killers in the game forcing one, maybe two kills against a team of the best survivors.

The simple answer is that the reason people abuse you is because they are allowed to abuse you. The ones with the power to change it and ban people have stated that they allow this type of abuse, so there's nothing you can do about it.

Why does it always have to be a certain side that's toxic? It's not killers or survivors, its just a large group of people that are in it to ruin the fun for others.

You get people like this in any online game, it just feels worse in this because the game is so stressful to begin with.

People are bastard coated bastards with bastard filling, that's why.

Honestly, that is at least a major part of it. Competition brings out the worst in a lot of people and it's not enough that they win, they need to embarrass their opponent too.
