Would you still use Barbecue & Chilli if;
At this point I think the bloodpoint effect of BBQ should be basegame for all killers, atleast one of the good things about the ruin change was incentivising more perk variety. To many killer players, BBQ and ruin both felt mandatory, only giving you two perk slots. Now you have three, but BBQ is even more essential than any other perk because of the BP gain, with the grind being as ridiculous as it is. It'd be really nice to actually be able to run four perks together and not feel like I'm immensely suffering in the BP grind.
The question then comes to, would you still use Barbecue & Chilli if an effect was removed, and do you think the BP effect of the perk should be basekit on all killers, allowing for much more variety in killer perk loadout.

I would use Barbecue & Chilli if it only showed the auras of any survivors more than 40 metres away on <=3 of my killers
I'd still use it on Demogorgon, Billy, and Freddy (ew). I might still use it on Doctor but that's a hefty might.

I'm a Billy main and for me, the main use of the perk is finding survivors. Sure the bloodpoints are great, but knowing where a survivor is, even one, can cut time down immensely.
Additionally the perk is great for many other killers who lack map pressure, as it will help them apply pressure where needed.

I would rather not use Barbecue & Chilli if one of the effects were removed.
Making any perks baseline is not something the devs have never done, nor do I have any reason to believe they would ever do in the future.
As for the whole "practically mandatory" mentality in regards to meta perks, I never put stock in this idea, and you don't have to take my word about it. Really good players like Tru3Ta1ent, Otz, etc. have proven the viability of builds that use perks outside of the meta

Extra BP is nice, but to me it's only noticeable when I pair it with a good offering or a Double BP event. So if the extra BP weren't there, I'd still use it with a bunch of Killers. Not a must-have perk, but still a really useful one.

BBQ is a good perk. I've seen people says it overrated but I disagree. It can be inconsistent but the info it gives can be a complete game changer.

I'd use it less, but I'd definitely still run it on most of my Killer builds.

I would use Barbecue & Chilli if it only gave bonus bloodpoints (like WGLF) and had no other effect.
the grind in this game is actually atrocious and extremely anti-player to the point that it makes wow seem casual friendly

I'd use it for the auras only or the BP only, i'm not picky

This is kind of biased. There is no option for wanting it as is...

The BP bonus is nice but I wouldn't like to restrict my build just for that. On the other hand the aura reading has so many counters I wouldn't use it much without the BP bonus.

I would cause I use it to find survivors

Bloodpoints. Meg needs all the perks, and I'd like to get other perks on other killers. Also some addons for my Pig would be nice.

Oops, voted wrong. I'd use it for the bloodpoints, then use a different tracking perk. Though I'd still use it if the bloodpoint bonus were base.

I either forget to look for auras 90% of the time or have a good mindset of where people are on the map. For these reasons BBQ is only ever used for the BP effect, and as most of my killers are reaching all perks unlocked, it has been removed from many of my builds.

Well virtually everyone uses it as it is, which is kinda the point of this poll, having that as an option doesn't generate any opinions...

I see the bloodpoint value as making this mandatory, rather than for the effect like you could consider old ruin

Both effects make BBQ as strong as it is, it helps tracking Survivors and helps you grind BPs.

This really depends on how badly you view the grind of Dead By Daylight which is a bit subjective in a way. I've already gotten every character to level 40 (except for Zarina) for their teachables, and I've P3'd my main characters for killer and survivor a long, long time ago and now I am focused more on P3-ing killers I enjoy playing outside of my main and I'm in no huge rush to force that any faster. I'll just enjoy the ride and the road it takes to get there more or less
That being said, if you're just starting out I can see how the grind would look very, very utterly intimidating when you are trying to figure out how to play and then from there how you even like to play (your personal playstyle preference) and how to capitalize on that preference with the best set of perks. And with new perks constantly being introduced it will be even harder for new players down the line to catch up / keep up.
The grind isn't exactly a partisan issue, I think everybody in the community either wants to see it reduced or wouldn't mind. It just depends on what the devs want to do and how far they want to reduce the grind (IE get rid of all perk tiers completely to balance out the fact a future ridiculous number of perks may be in existence?).
It's important though to remember in a weird kind of sense the grind is part of the "fun" so to speak because technically it's your primary goal, before the archives existed and gave you deliberate challenges and goals, the goal was to grind out bloodpoints to get all the perks and then once you have all of those to get them all to tier 3. So how much do we / the devs want to reduce the grind, who knows really.
Either way long story short, I still don't think it justifies making any perk a baseline effect, just not on board with the idea of that in any capacity. If the grind was your main issue and that's why running BBQ is "mandatory" and we should make it baseline just talk about the issue at the source in the first place which in this case is the grind rather than going through all this extraneous mumbo jumbo and beating around the bush.

Extra BP are fine. But the main use is to help locating other survivors and keep pressure.

I already don't use Barbecue & Chilli.
I used to run BBQ a lot but as survivors hide in lockers and I have enough game sense to know where they should be there's no need for aura reading
As per BP usual game of killer gets me 28-30 k, so I see no need. Unless there's a character I want to get to P3/stock add-ons on
