Why make breakable walls
Why would you make breakable walls that take time and are out of your way instead of just not making op loops, this is wasted time, even this, just make breakable windows to destroy god loops

Breakable walls are the same concept as Trapper, Hag and Freddy presetting traps. The idea is that you invest time early game to payoff later.
If you don't wanna invest the time, you get looped like crazy later on. Kinda like if Survivors wanna gen rush and they have to deal with No ED

But my problem is why not make it simpler, why not make certain windows breakable, problem solved

because Windows are critical to loops. Survivors need them. You're not just helping the Killer at that point you're weakening the Survivors.
Imagine if you were running Lithe and the Killer broke all the good vaults. Breaking vaults is just as unhealthy for the game as being able to break Lockers or Unused Pallets in my opinion

Or just make vault locations doors on main buildings it would make main buildings less safe

i would call it bandaid fix... its easier to adress this due to breakable walls, then have to rework each map... ^^

Half of the breakable walls should've just been doors. They make these op loops and force you to break walls to make them not as op loops

Breakable shack is the most insulting addition to the game so far for those who want higher level play
dont @ me

Because they couldn't be bothered to fix infinites.

This.
Breakable walls just enable devs to not pay attention to god loops when creating maps.
"Just break the wall" if you dislike that loop.

Yep, breakable Walls are poorly implemented.
Either they make mindgameable structures way too weak (Shack for example) or they are 100% needed to be broken, because otherwise it is a god loop (Saloon).
It is beyond my imagination how anyone can think it is good to create a super-strong Loop and implement breakable Walls, which 100% need to be broken, instead of just making the Loop more fair in the beginning and dont use breakable Walls for that.
I really hope they scrap this idea, because it is one of their worst.

People thought the breakable walls will be something such as you can get rid of one of the walls in shack, instead we recievied such BS as those doors, cause I will never call it a wall lol

Yes, why make breakable walls when you can just make no broken loops, the devs are mind boggling in their laziness sometimes

I’m actually enjoying breaking them down for a quick boost in points.

Potato, potahto.

except those are powers which are denial of an area
breaking a wall doesn't take any skill or forethought

More like potato and chocolate, a god loop is hard to deal with but still manageable, even with the one on ironworks you will catch up to survivors, with infinites you had literally no chance to catch up to te survivors.

Eh, when you put it that way, I can see the difference. I just thought of 'great, that's a three minute chase on that loop, might as well be infinite.' I'll change my vocabulary on that, though. Thank you.

Scroll up one comment, please. I already corrected myself.

it destroys the loop even more so if you have the pallet down, hello?

I feel the same way. Just seems like a waste of time and not really a solution. Absolutely ruins shack as well. Shack is playable as it is. But just make OP windows breakable instead..

I dunno about you, but my wall breaks come with a "HI-YAHHHH!" sound effect...and it's quite satisfying. 😂

No they are not as there are breakable walls on jungle gym that allows you to completely destroy that loop.
You cant expect every breakable wall to be like "destroy this and problem solved". The way it is its good. A bit of infinite(thats a main building by the way it has to be strong) here a bit of not necessary wall to break here and walls that completely allow you to deny survivors that structure.

But that's the thing. How are breakable walls beneficial for killers when you are FORCED to destroy them and waste time? When they were introduced, people thought they were a way of making certain already existing stronger loops shorter such as jungle gyms.
Whether you place something like that on a cooldown or not is something that can be discussed, but the way they're implemented right now is not by making the regular loops we have weaker, but by creating strong loops and by breaking them, they become somewhat manageable. Trapper and Hag already were in a disadvantage because they have to preset traps at the start. If this really becomes the same concept as you're saying, it's going to hinder the killers more than help them, because they're in a disadvantage at the start and because it wastes time to make those odds more even.
Granted, we haven't seen unbreakable walls in action on the already existing maps so maybe it won't be such a problem after all.
*Please note that I'm not talking about the breakable wall in the shack because that's bs but the other way around.
True but this could be on a cooldown again so that it would be impossible for killers to break all the windows. Or you could put a number on it or something. Each game the killer is able to break 2 windows in total or something.

Literally just put a breakable window on the 2 strongest loops in the game, learn to utilize weaker loops, it couldn’t be simpler
0 -
Instead of breakable walls we should be able to break some OP god loop windows. Not all of them, but those the strongest like one in the building nn Ironworks of Misery.

Or if the devs were smart they wouldn’t make god loops anymore, unless you break the wall in the saloon it’s a nasty god loop
0 -
They made even bigger God-Like loops that force the killer to break them or you'll get ran for the entire game.
They thought the killer had so much spare time on their hands they forced breakable walls into the mechanics.

I agree with that. When they intruduced this mechanic I had hopes that you had the "choice" of destroying them. Something like, if you keep the wall you have a bigger but still normal loop but with mindgame but if you break the wall you have a shorter loop WITHOUT mindgame. So with this concept you would have a choice with what you would preffer to play. That would open interesting games and make games abit more different. Also it varies with other killers.

Whole Saloon is one big god loop. It should be remade.
