I'm giving on this adept (salt edition)
I know, the Deathslinger is kinda good and stuff but no, just no. I'm not going to waste any more time trying to get this achievement unless something will be done about it.
I'm not perfect at shooting. You can recommend me to "gitgud" but do you realize you're literally telling me to get good at the specific game genre which I have never appreciated to begin with? Am I supposed to derank to the point I'll be able to get it? Are you for real? A good half of killer adept achievement are nearly impossible against good survivors on high ranks. Am I supposed to hope that current matchmaking will drop me a few yellow and green rank potato survivors? Do I have to pray for good luck? I'm not playing this game, nuh-uh, I'm already enjoying such an activity with my Pig and her RBTs sometimes.
What. The. Point. Of. The. Perks? I can remove them without any problem, they are THAT useless. You can't just create perks that are totally random for a killer and say: "Hey, can you get all red emblems by using only these perks on a killer that adds "first-face shooter" tag to our Steam page? What do you mean you weren't prepared to learn a whole new game genre? Oh, come on, it can't be that hard!"
Emblems make me sick. You can 4 kill dumb survivors but will you get your emblems? NO. You can have a match that start off great and then that one survivor will suicide on a hook. Will I get all my emblems? NO. Can you try to sacrifice your killing effectiveness by trying to do special things to get all emblems? NO, because you're wasting too much time by doing so and survivors start these gens in no seconds. And Caleb just blows when it comes to pressuring generators.
I know that achievements are supposed to be hard. But they should be requiring skill only and once you get to the certain skill ceiling you should be able to obtain the achievement you were trying to earn. This isn't skill when I just wait until I get survivors who mess up massively during the whole trial without suiciding on hooks and bringing strongest items which can pull a trick for them by the end. The fun part is, adept achievements are the only achievements that can't really be farmed because no entitled survivor would let you kill them. And these achievements are not even showing how good you are because, my god, the survivor team must have gone vegitale mode and you barely tried to win and just tortured those poor souls to get your achievement.
Is there any rework coming for this? Not playing as a top tier killer is already nerve-racking but now I just feel like I'm slowly loosing sanity. Thanks god I don't have to see teabagging survivors at the exit gates at least.

My only suggestion is to wait for a rank reset to happen, wait a couple days after that and try again that way.
i doubt they will do anything soon™ to fix them.... but yeah.

It complete and utterly baffles me that the Adept Killer achievement is tied to double pipping and not just to killing everyone.
Sure, moris are a problem. Just make the challenge say "sacrifice" and not "kill" all survivors.
It makes even less sense when you consider how easy the survivor adept challenges are.

Lol I have all the DLCs and I don't have adept for more than 50% of the killers.
Those achievements are not worth the frustration you get trying to do them. I'd consider doing them if they were asking you to just kill all 4.

You used to be able to get adept killer as long as no one escaped, and I feel like that is way better than what it is now. I got my adept for deathslinger on my second try because on the first try I had people not getting saved and killing themselves on hook, so yea I think it should be changed.

I got this challenge after like six tries. I was going to throw in the towel since I'm not a great Deathslinger player, but I got fortunate to get a good map where I was able to get some early momentum and was able to 3 hook everyone. I agree with you that it's utterly ridiculous it takes a 2-pip to earn when a survivor can earn adept by jumping in the hatch

This man got it. I am saying this for months, 4 Sacrifices. Thats it. Can be obtained, is not more difficult just because you need better Emblems, cannot be cheesed by using a Mori.
I will not try Adepts until they are changed. When I end up with a 4K and 3 Iridescent and 1 Gold on Hillbilly, I am already frustrated. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to try Adept Plague.

1) Wait for the rank reset
2) Burn a good killer map or one you're comfortable with. Shelter woods, Swamp maps are good. Few pallets and with dead zones. Also, the new map is a good idea. Unsafe pallets and survivors don't know the loops yet from my experience.
3) Try to 3 gen the survivors.

Mind eye was so distracting, and you get penalized for using his power.. it was not fun in the least

Like...I don't understand how getting a Merciless is still a thing for a killer to get his Adept.

I waited for rank reset and got it in purple ranks luckily. They are still BS achievements tho.
