How is the population on the Nintendo Switch?
Thinking of picking it up. How are queues at different ranks. Worth it or not?

I've been 20-8 as survivor and never had long wait times. Only early mornings...otherwise swift sailing.

It's long and boring, change the game to lobby simulator and there you have it!

I'm rank one on both killer and survivor. Killer is mostly instant while survivor takes a few mins but not too long. It also depends on what time of day you're playing, as at night time queues are a little longer for me (I'm in Europe).
However you do find yourself playing against the same few people again and again so if you want to face off against a variety of players you might be disappointed.
However I don't see any major problems with the population on Switch so I'm happy playing on this platform.
Also you should note that the Switch version is a little more expensive but has the Clown and Spirit along with their respective survivors at base.

Where do you live? I don't have any problems with queues but queue times could vary for different regions.

I play mainly on switch, probably the most hours player on switch atm (2k). I'm rank 1 both killer and survivor. I like it. The community is small not going to lie, I think I read somewhere we comprise ~3-5% of the overall DBD player database but I don't know how true that is.
Anyways, my wife and kids also play. We have 2 switch's so we play together a lot. As far as que times, killer ques are mostly 1-3 min; survivor ques are more like 3-5 min. Maybe on really slow hours they may reach 10 min.
The good thing of being small however is that you get to know players you play with all the time and can get regular teammates to swf with or against.

It's okay at certain times. I find myself playing against the same people at times and it's fine. I have noticed however that the skill level of Switch players is questionable. I'm not calling myself a god or anything but I managed to get to rank 1 killer on there, and I highly doubt I would make it to even purple ranks on PC.
Solo queue is even more miserable as Survivor.

The population is okay. You might run into the same people a few times. I've added quite a few people to my friends list, and I see them in games even randomly. When playing killer, you might face the same people twice in a row. Haven't seen anyone here that I'm aware of. My queue times vary. Sometimes I'll get into a match instantly, other times it might take 5 minutes.
