Survivors disconnecting
I have been playing DBD since it came to gamepass. I mostly play as the killer. The number of survivors that disconnect before they are sacrificed is maddening. I have gone several weeks without playing DBD because I get sick of it happening every couple of matches. I can't count how many times I have chased someone for a good 5 minutes. Down them. Put them on the hook. Only for them to disconnect right before the entity can take them. Or they disconnect because I downed them at the exit gate. It's getting to the point I'm just about ready to stop playing all together. How hard would it be for a body of a survivor who disconnects to not disappear and stay on the killer's shoulder? Or hook?

when did they bring that in? i didn't think t-bagging was bannable at all.
if i have too many games with mori's, i just leave the game while in the loading screen. i don't mind the odd mori but when you constantly get games with them, its frustrating especially when the killers hard tunnel you just to get the mori.

Cheer up, a survivor who DC's on you is getting themselves a hefty penalty and probably won't be in your next match.

What is mori spamming? Is that where they keep starting and canceling the mori.

Yeah, and in the dream state on Hawkins for some reason its really bright.

Can you link to the Reddit posts?
I can't seem to find them.
@Peanits @MandyTalk - Can you confirm if this is an actual thing, please?

If your friend had an actual seizure, they shouldn't be playing most games anyways. All games have a seizure warning for safety reasons, I'm not being unsympathetic but it was their choice to play the game. Don't blame something like that on someone else, because it could easily have been avoided. What does your friend care about more? Health or playing games?
And yeah, not being able to play sucks. But personally I'd rather not risk it since seizures can kill you.

Neither party is innocent in this case. Perhaps his buddy should reconsider what he is playing online. Perhaps the Killer shouldn't toxic mori spam people, for apparently more than one reason.

Maybe if they balanced the game a bit better to where solo survivors had a decent shot at the game I’d say it might stop or at least slow down. I’ll be honest I’m not the best looper and neither are the random teammates I get matched up with it seems. But I don’t want to play a game where I die for you every game. It feels like that. I don’t want to come in and stare at a progress bar until I get hooked. It’s not fun for survivors. This is something you need to realize is that it’s not all about you as a killer. 4 other survivors that you’re going against are real people too, but they’re just a small piece to the puzzle the 4 man crew has to survive. Alone, you stand zero chance. Surely you must understand that. Surely you must understand that there are many reasons That when a survivor goes down He doesn’t always feel like he had a solid chance. There’s lag, ridiculous lunge attacks, broken vault hit boxes that don’t seem like a fair hit when I’ve cleared the vault, Ebony Mori’s. It’s deflating. I don’t want to come in and die for you. Straight up. It’s not fun for survivors. I find more often than not (and my Random teammates are all purple and red ranks) that killers still mow them down MOST of the time. The percentages don’t feel 50/50.

Some feel as though going on the hook, they won’t get off of it. Or the killer is just gonna show up and Mori them. I don’t think gen speed is really that serious for you to be Mori’ing people. It’s just being abusive at that point. I’ve seen good killers get 12 hooks without tunneling. Without face camping. Without Mori. NOED comes in clutch, but it’s still a crutch. You combine all of these things with thanat, dying light, OP add ons, I mean.... get good all you want but there’s only so much you can do without getting caught. And like I said, not all of us are the best loopers or can run the killer for serious lengths of time. But that doesn’t mean everyone’s deserves to die. That falls back on poor map design. Why are vaults not having longer walls? Why are killers running faster than my lithe/sprint burst ability? Legion is the prime suspect there. I see him do it every time. It’s just not that serious.

Actually, we as a people share some responsibility to take care of each other to some degree. That's very evident by what is happening in our current society. So, it's not unreasable to expect people to A) avoid behavior that can cause issues for sensitive people and B) just not be #########.

Literally no one is being banned for t-bagging at the exit gate..

Mori spamming is bannable from the last response i heard from the devs. Tea bagging/clam slamming is not.

Clam slamming 🤣 I'm dead.

I would like to take credit for coming up with the term 😂, but I first heard it during one of saminations streams

The OP said "since it came to Gamepass" which means they're playing on XBox. No dedicated servers, no penalties. DCs are rampant on XBox right now. I would say I get an average of 1 every 3 games when I play killer(yellow ranks) and 1 every 6 when I play survivor(green/purple ranks).

Sounds like you need to join the PC master race. 😉

Given the user's previous posts that were proven to be untrue, I am not surprised.

Lol “heafty” as in a whole 5 minutes.. which is the queue time for many people.

I wish dedicated servers would come back to Xbox. There were way less DCs and my own connection was always a little better than it is peer to peer.

I get the fact that no one wants to die over and over again playing the survivor. I know I dont. But I die anyway. 9 out of 10 matches I'm sacrificed. It's because I'm not very good at playing the survivor. But I dont quit because I'm mad the killer went right for me when I just got off the hook. Or because the killer was camping. It's how they want to play the game. It's no reason to rage quit. Learn how to take a lose. Quit cheating people out of points.

People quit because of everything, but I think it has lessened since the penalties started. Anyway, as a survivor, it doesn't really bother me much if someone about to be hooked for the third time disconnects, since they would die in seconds anyway, but for a killer with chili, for example, it's bad. There's even people disconnecting after being downed for the first time, which is just selfish, because not only it is bad for the killer, but for the survivor team too.
