Flashlights are Broken
Every killer hates flashlight saves, but honestly I don't mind them. Unless the save makes absolutely no sense. I've been noticing more & more recently that survivors are pulling off flashlight saves but are not even in front of me. A lot of the time I physically can't see the survivor because they're outside of my FOV. So how are they getting flashlight stuns from such odd angles?
And yes I know the way to counter flashlight saves is to face a wall or bait the flashlighter to hit them. But I also noticed in some cases a flashlight saver can still hit you if you are facing the wall. They just need the tiniest bit of your area of affect to be peaking out & they can get the save. It's absolute BS that some of these types of saves are still allowed. A flashlight save should only count if I can actually see the flashlighter. Them pulling some miraculous save off to either side of me should not count.
I just had a match where I downed this survivor in the shack & had my face basically against the wall. Somehow this other survivor pulled off a flashlight save off to my left, & they were way out of my cone of vision. I feel like that play alone screwed over the momentum I had built at the start of the match. And all because of a stupid save that hit somehow.

Don’t forget there’s add one to make the flashlight stun from more farther, not only that but I think because the more farther you are with an add on it will work even on side angles

It’s impossible to blind Hag and Spirit when they are stunned due to their animations, that should get looked into as well.

Boy if you think they're broken now you should've seen them prior to the updates.
Short pickup time, smaller window to blind, etc.
It's way better than it should be and can easily be avoided by mindgames. If you got blinded through the side you didnt look at the right spot properly.
Just be better next time, it's not that bad.

Do you know how much it costs the killer on high ranks to be blinded when picking up a survivor? If you are looking at the wall it should not be possible to blind you from any angle.

I'm sure it's not that simple unless you can show me a clip, "basically" against the wall means he left room. If theres room theres a way.

So killer has to have perfect angle to protect their damn well deserved hook, but survivor who just has stupid yellow flashlight and a bit of working brain cells can deprive them of their earnings if killer left a little bit of empty space on their screen, which is fully dependent on the downed survivor, because killer can not moove freely their disabled victim for some unknown reason and choose where they want to pick up a survivor.

I mean it's literally as simple as pushing them away and picking up in the opposite direction. If you understand your timing and the distance you pick relative to the survivor facing the opposite direction, you can make a flashlight save nearly impossible for the survivor to pull off.

Been behind killers and get flashlight blinds? Pls send a video cus I don't believe it.
I think you're exaggerating a lot.

With the situation I was describing, I was in the shack corner & facing into it going for the pick up. I heard the survivor run up from behind me on my left & the flashlight went off getting the stun. I was almost certain there was no way a flashlight save could be made because I faced the wall completely, not like half hanging away from the wall or anything. But somehow he pulled off a hit that definitely seemed out of the 60 degree cone in which a killer can be blinded. I don't have a video to show it, but it seemed odd how he pulled off the save.
I still believe a survivor or the beam of light should be visible from the killers perspective in order for a flashlight save to count. Anything outside of the killers FOV should not register.
