Fix Killer Lunges + Oni Charge
I believe that if a killer lunges then they should lunge in a straight line just like the Demogorgon. Since when can a killer lunge and do a ballet recital at the same time? Also there is no way the Oni should be able to charge for so long and change corners so quickly.

Oni is basically a better hillbilly. Pretty much removes the purpose of playing him besides dailies. Also a lunge by dictionary definition is a sudden forward thrust of the body. Clearly killers are not meant to be rotating their bodies as they lunge FORWARD.

If I was the killer and I hit a survivor while doing a pirouettes I would be suprised it landed.

If it looked like they were rotating it was a glitch. It’s not possible and your ridiculous. I play killer and lunges are only forward.

When they charge the lunge they are able to turn at least 360 degrees before they attack. If they want to lunge they should need to hold it and then release the attack when they feel the need to which would be so much better.

Wrong on so many levels.
First, Oni needs blood to even use his power, Hillbilly can chainsaw early, often, and always.
Second, this is a video game, if killers aren't supposed to be rotating their bodies during a lunge, than survivors aren't supposed to be doing pirouettes on one foot to 360.

okay.
to make up for it i want:
1) the survivors will be unable tu turn while running - since when can you just immediately turn to a side while running?
2) the survivors occasinally tripping and falling to the ground, leaving them unable to move until they stood back up - we all trip sometimes, especially if we keep running over uneven ground. not having this is not realistic. also after tripping their movement speed should be decreased for some time, cause realism.
3) any attack that hits a vital part of your body will down and potentially even kill you - again, realism.
4) healing takes a couple of weeks of not moving aswell as proper medial care. rubbing someones back for 16 seconds aint enough to heal a freaking flesh wound!
5) survivors bleed out while in the injured state. lets be honest, the continuous bleeding they suffer leads to a huge blood loss and therefore needs to kill them at some point.
6) the survivors being unable to repair gens, cause lets be honest who here knows how to repair a freakin destroyed motor engine with nothing but their bare hands?
7) killers being able to close their eyes when someone shines a flashlight at them (RIP Doc)

Nah it’s not bait, it’s the truth. I’ve seen it too 😂 killers can lunge spin on you when you try to juke them. I think if they lunge it should be in a straight line as well. Shouldn’t have much of an AOE too. It really is quite unfair in my opinion. Idk why people keep evading the fact that killers are actually really OP at the moment. You guys must be really bad at the game and think this 1v4 is just totally lopsided against you as a killer. It’s not. Bait bait bait that’s all I hear. It’s not bait. These are real issues. I don’t know how people can just sit here and bash on someone for experiencing something that isn’t right about the game clearly. Yet people like you try to act like it’s not a thing 😂 okay

Even though the Oni needs blood to use his power it also makes it easier to chase a survivor. Also the Oni can save up his charges and release as much as he wants whenever he wants. I think when he uses his power he should use all of it or maybe let the blood collecting charge up slower since its easy to just continuously follow a survivor.

I don't think number 3 would make any sense when all the killers do a type of slashing attack. Plus killers have a MORI which can already kill people instantly. Also wouldn't make sense for survivors to have stamina meter when the killer can outrun the survivors anyways and survivors already have the exhaustion debuff. No way the clown should be running faster than meg who is an athelete.

Your number two is wrong. Killers have speed, that’s their advantage over survivors who should be able to juke/360 in return. Killers actually have a lot more going for them. Ez downs, ez hooks, ez ebony Mori, ez ez ez ez ez. Lmao. Killers that get wrecked are either because pro survivors that deserve it or you’re just really bad.

So being able to do a full 360 as a survivor is balanced but being reduced to a 270 at most while lunging isn't? And Oni can turn at 90 the most when in rage mode. This whole thread is a yellow rank mood ffs.

quoting exactly this. survivor movement is much more complicated than killer movement as well, so killers need that ability to lunge in a curve or a not-so-straight line. limiting them would weaken them further and make survivors way too overpowered.

I've seen that in identity v, let me tell you it sucks. The survivors can just run at you and since your hit is locked in an animation instead of the way dbd detects hits (the lunge automatically ends as soon as it detects a hit) they can run under your weapon while you are attacking. It sucks so bad. The demogorgon's attack is supposed to be easier to dodge because it lets you hit them from a great distance at a quick speed. If you add a great buff there needs to be a debuff or a way to counter it, thats how balance works. How can killers counter a 360 or simply a 90 degrees turn if they cant turn during they swipe?

You don’t sound like you’ve ever actually played killer nor are you a good survivor. If you were a good survivor I wouldn’t be able to catch you easily. Jukes are for terrible survivors who can’t hide or loop and want more things to rely on then learning the actual game mechanics and finding good loops and knowing what the killer can/can’t see and using that to their advantage. Once killer commits to the lunge that’s it, it’s a straight line and there’s no wide area. I’ve missed people before when they were almost touching me because they were just a little to the right or under the swing. It’s a fun game when you get actual skill, the only awful things in this game are you people both killers and survivors who whine about how OP all these skills or situations are. Grow up, learn from your mistakes, have fun, or continue muddling in mediocrity. Doesn’t affect me a bit because people like you give me 4k’s or if I’m playing survivor your a great distraction who will probably piss off the killer and get him to only chase you and give me way more time.

You do know whilst you swing a weapon you could also move right.
Try right now swing your arm forward whilst you turn your body
Demi Logorgon is literally pouncing in the direction it's kind of impossible to change direction you go mid air.
By that logic a survivor can only run in a straight line and if they want a turn they must stop then turn the direction they need to go.

Alright broski that rank 6 comment wasn't for you so I don't know why you felt the need to add that in your comment. Kinda pathetic that you took that to heart. Anyways killers have perks and abilities that can:
1. Slow down survivors
2. Speed up the killer
3. Hinder the survivor from walking/interacting with pallets.
Survivors only have exhaustion perks that they can only use for a certain amount of time before it goes into cool down. I guess you can add flashlights too, but killers become crybabies when you flashlight their eyes and start face camping. So there is no reason to give them another advantage to "turn 90 degrees" during a lunge. If they lunge forward and miss then they miss and they can try again, but there is no reason they should be able to turn as they are swinging their their machete doing a FORWARD lunge attack.

From what I know the Oni nerf was that he can no longer flick while in demon mode, but that's not what I am concerned about. The fact that he is able to turn corners better than hillbilly and use his ability anytime for however long he wants is wrong. If he uses his power with however many blood bubbles he collects then he should use all of it when he activates it. Clearly he needs another nerf.

Did you know if you are running forward as a survivor and suddenly start running left or right you stop for a bit before running again?. If the killer holds their weapon in their right hand then it makes sense if they can lunge turn to the left, but it doesn't make sense if they lunge turn to the right because survivors should be able to duck under to avoid an attack like that. If you watch boxing you can dodge a left hook by ducking under and moving towards their left hook. "So bY lOgiC" they survivor should be able to dodge attacks by ducking and moving to the right side of the killer.

Survivors can literally spin in a circle directly in front of a killer and avoid an attack even though they were spinning into the killers weapon. They can also look behind them while running at full speed and drag their heads against walls without slowing down.
But sure a killer turning while swinging a knife is unrealistic and should be removed.
