DELIVERANCE: Last one alive, and haven’t been hooked.
and it doesn’t activate, DEVS said this was because the killer is probably in front of you anyways but I believe it should still work, killers will let their guard down, and that’s our opportunity. What do you guys think

The Killer will just wait there, if the last Survivor gets a chance to attempt escape. And so Deliverance will not change anything. And yes, the Survivor can have DS, and yes, he can have Unbreakable, but it is enough for the Killer to just wait.
In the end it is only a huge waste of time for both sides.

Every time the exit gate is not opened. I think it’s ridiculous that if no one is alive that the perks ability suddenly changes.

I’ve on multiple occasions been face camped by a killer and gotten saved an still managed to escape, just because you guys wanna give the game to the killer 100% of the time means nothing, the perk says, after having successful unhooked someone you’re 100% guaranteed to unhook yourself, it doesn’t specify whether or not suvivors have to be alive. I think it’s silly that you think this is fine.... its a perk that only works if there are other survivors... if that was the case it should say that

Most games now the killer slugs, and even if he doesn't, the chances of not being hooked at that point of the game is unlikely.

I think it's fine the way it is, it's fair because you have the broken status as a compromise, and you have to have a safe unhook as well to be able to activate the perk. I find when I decide to throw it on for a game, I almost 100% of the time don't get to even use it because I don't have the unhook. 😂 I'd say maybe the only thing that could be fixed, is that a survivor can't sit on it for the entire game, maybe it only works for 3 minutes, or something like that.

Its logical that it does not work when being the last Survivor. You escape via one of your attempts and the chance is 100% and not 4%. You dont get those attempts when you are the last Survivor, the game does not allow this. So Deliverance does not change anything.
Besides, if you can still be on 3 Hooks and let your teammates die who are on Death Hook... If you still survive after being hooked, try to get into a chase so that your teammates might not die, if you can still afford being hooked.

okay well the perk doesn’t say “there’s a killer in front of you, and no ones alive so I won’t work.” The perk just says unhook someone unhook yourself. So you guys are arguing about circumstances that do not matter. The perk should still work.

It’s worth noting however if there is an activated gate the perk works, but I think it should work in either scenario because it does not specify that a survivor needs to be alive for it to work, and honestly if it did it’d ruin the game, because deliverance is a good solo perk, devs already said they will not activate invoice chat because that would make it harder for the killer. I think the perk is fine but not working because of circumstances like no exit door being open or no survivor alive is redundant, because you still have a chance to survive, you could have DH, DS, Lithe, and ironwill

The issue is how the game works.. If you're the last one alive, regardless of your hook stage and a killer puts you on the hook; you instantly die. It completely skips over the kobe phase and struggle phase just so the killer doesn't have to wait 2 more minutes.

But if you have deliverance active and it's your first hook and you are the last survivor you should be able to use it. Maybe you have DH, DS, Unbreakable, Deliverance and key so you have still a chance, but no it just kills you

I do not forsee any change being made to this perk, but if it was reworked to address being active & last alive I'd say give it a DS like skill check to hit.
At least the killer would still likely down you, as they already are likely still flailing your carcase in the hook!

Ok but the devs said why it’s like this, so is the perk supposed to be more accurate than the devs? Yea maybe they should change the description of it but your saying the perk should still work when the devs say as the last survivor that it doesn’t and why it doesn’t.

Im the last person who thinks the game is fine, deliverance and not being able to attempt escape when you are last alive is not a big concern when compared to Map design for example

I will use it every now and then. But I had a good laugh a few days ago. A survivor's first words in the pregame lobby were "I have deliverance and DS"
Probably 20 seconds into the game he got downed and hooked by Freddy.

honestly a better deliverance change would be making it attached to the active button. and letting you do it in second state. i know that its somewhat balanced around the first state but having to get a safe unhook can be difficult, especially if you are found first. trying to get the perk to work normally means hhiding until someone else goes down or you know someone else is being chased.
i wouldnt really think using it in second state would be THAT broken. but id like opinions
