Reward Legion for chaining hits
Legion would be really interesting if their power increased with each Frenzy hit.
- Each hit reset and increased the timer by 5 seconds. 20 seconds to get the first hit. 25 seconds to get the second hit. 30 seconds for the third hit. 35 seconds for the fourth hit.
- Each hit increased the mending timer by 2 seconds. First hit 12 seconds, second hit 14 seconds, third hit 16 seconds, fourth hit 20 seconds.
All the sudden a good Legion's map pressure and game slowdown would be really strong. Legion would turn into much more of a threat for Survivors because they'd be able to cover much more distance so spreading out would be less effective and healing would be even more discouraged.

While I'm not against Legion buffs and this is a pretty creative idea, what about things from the Survivor's perspective? Feral Frenzy is already basically a free hit and saying to the final 4th Survivor "well, because your allies screwed up, now you're hit with the biggest penalties of all of them" is a bit eh.
I also think Legion is already fine WHEN you get a full Feral Frenzy mass team stabfest and doesn't necessarily need even more reward in that situation IMO, I think Legion's issues lie in other areas.
Still wouldn't be radically opposed to a buff like this (especially because 35 seconds of Feral Frenzy speed offers a lot of interesting new opportunities for creatively capitalising on your stabfest) but those two counterpoints seemed too obvious for me not to point out.

ok now look at that from the other side, "there finally mended now lets get to that ge...ah crap hit again, time to mend" idk man, does not seem that much fun

I still dont get how legion has soo many penalties instadown killers basically have none and can wipe you out instantly but a killer thats power is basically useless has to have soo many undeserving penalties

Agreed, no need for them to go overboard but changing just 1-2 of these would be Ge for legion. A shorter stun when coming out of the power voluntarily for example, I get that it would make changing the frenzy and M1 easier, but huntress already has that.

Remove the penalty for hitting Survivors (why is that even a thing).
Reduce the Frenzy cooldown stun to 3 seconds so they're not so add-on dependent (maybe even rework the cooldown add-ons to do something different).
Even just that could go a long way. Also, not being able to see scratches is fine for Legion because once you get the first hit you have Killer Instinct to track Survivors a lot of people forget that. Activate Frenzy a couple seconds before you hit them so they stay in your line of sight. If you barely see them out of the corner of your screen, Frenzy isn't the play because you can't see scratches and I think that's balanced

Personally I'd like a quality of life buff (Kind of) where Legion's stun at the end of Feral Frenzy was reduced to 2 seconds. However each stab increased the stun by .5 seconds. If it really even needed to be longer anyways.
So basically
- 0 Hits - 2 seconds
- 1 Hit - 2.5 Seconds
- 2 Hit - 3 Seconds
- 3 Hit - 3.5 Seconds
- 4 Hit - 4 Seconds
Scale it kind of like that the numbers could be adjusted etc etc. Although I'd like a debuff on survivors or a buff towards Legion to work the same way tbh. Admittedly I'd prefer it to just be reduced but I imagine if BHVR changed it they'd do something similar but then again I have low hopes for Legion.

Becaus biased survivor mains (not all survivor mains, pitchforks down) complained to high ######### hell about how "unfun" and "broken OP" legion was, so they got ######### multiple times. Bleedout changes, power changes, timers, cooldowns and stuns, costly recharge system, unable to swing like you have mad grit, even if you ARE RUNNING MAD GRIT. So they listened to the vocal minority, as they tend to do, and have consistently tried to make pig better by having legion become the new joke.

@Dustin I really like it because it gives Legion a little more potential in the 1v1 chases. Like you if you use Frenzy and no one shows up with Killer Instinct, you can just cancel it and continue your chase.
It also makes Frenzy finally viable for mobility because you can use your power to travel the map and canceling it without hitting anyone will give you barely any penalty.

But playing survivor is playing on a team and part of being on a team is dealing with teammates failures you win and lose as a team everybody contributes to the team wether its positively or negatively so yes you should be punished for bad teammates because you are being rewarded from good teammates

Thank you for bringing this up! Now that I'm looking at it, you are completely right.
- When moving with Hillbilly's chainsaw, you move at 6m/s without addons. Not sure what is Legion's but its likely somewhere near 5.2m/s.
- Hillbilly can instadown you with his power. Legion can only injure with their power.
- Hillbilly takes a 3 second-ish stun, which can be changed by his addons. Legion takes a 4 second fatigue that blocks his vision.
- Hillbilly's power can last as long as he wants. Legion has a very mediocre duration that cannot reach people from across the map.
- Hillbilly's power can be used to down at otherwise impossible loops. Legion cannot even down a survivor with his power without a pointless addon that takes half of the match to actually work.
- Legion can not use his power effectively for mobility without addons.
- Legion cannot see scratch marks in his power.
- Hillbilly can also break pallets with his power, Legion has to use an Ultra Rare addon.
I do not think that Legion's immediate activation, increased vaulting speed and being able to vault pallets justifies this disparity.
On another note, I do agree with OP, there needs to be a reward for chaining hits. At the moment, it is very inefficient to actually stab all 4 survivors unless they are all grouped up - it wastes far too much time if they of great distance and often, you cannot reach the final survivor due to the duration. I'm not sure if mend time is the way to do it however, if the devs wanted more mend time they wouldn't have nerfed his blade addons.

You should be punished for things your TEAM does, it’s a TEAM GAME. You get rewarded with safety if your teammate brings BT, your adrenaline pops even if your team does all 5 gens without you, etc.
Yes bad teammates can sink everyone, but an elite looper can carry a team too honestly, it’s a trade off. This would be like playing football and wanting to count all of the TD passes your QB throws, but his interceptions don’t affect the team.

Thats right touchdowns get called back all the time because a olineman held or a tightend was covered up in the army if somebody acrews up people die in business one persons screw up can cost a company millions so a bad teammates in dbd should effect you
