Yes that system is already in place. There is a little x that lets you reroll a daily.
I spend more time in the forum too which is quite hilarious^^

The dailies are supposed to force you out of your comfort zone, thats what the devs said, and it works pretty well if you wanna do the dailies.

One advice though, dont force yourself to play the game because you wanna P3 someone. Try to have fun playing the game and if you dont have fun anymore, take a break.

Maybe im mistaken, but I think the devs wanted to rework the whole daily thing at one point, but maybe it has been dropped alreadey, dont know

I have over 2k hours on this boring bland game. The only time it's fun when they bring in a new killer, with friends. They need to rework it. I think my level idea./prestige idea is good. it rewards players for leveling up their. This game doesn't reward you for being good, hitting rank 1, nothing. hardly any rewards what so ever.I am devotion 1 player level 11.Oh good, more bloodshards, hhar har. Very little rewards for player progression or getting good in this game, which we need.

Yeah, the game needs to become competitive because this is the only thing that will keep the game alive in the long run.

I dont think that a 3month injection of non-viable killers is healthy in the long run, even though so far it worked pretty well.

"I have over 2k hours on this boring bland game."

Why waste over two thousand hours of your life doing something completely boring and bland? My guess is because this game is a lot less boring and bland then the rest of your life.

The dailies and reward system in this game could certainly use a re-work, sure.

no it started to become boring after 2k hours and its not all at once. Also no need try to insult me dude. My life is fine. I am starting to think people who go out their way to insult people have the boring lives and feel the need to start a fight because their spouses or whomever is ignoring them.

You're calling a game you played for over 2k hours bland and boring. Most things get boring or less interesting by 2k hours, dude.

Also joke's on you, I don't have a spouse or anyone in my life to be ignored by.

you could of edit your post into one dude. Also, they're plenty of games that you van dump into over 2k hours into and still have a blast. You know, after 446 posts, you should know the edit function by now?

Yeah, I am. i can't reason with someone who uses the phrase "grasping straws". All i see is a neckbeard with a hillbilly accent. You're right tho. Also, i am not replying to your posts after this. You're an annoying troll, obviously. You and lowbei should swap places on the ban list.

"Anyone who disagrees with my inflammatory comments = troll."

I don't even know what the sentence "I can't reason with someone who uses the phrase 'grasping straws'" is supposed to mean.

I would also like to see new dailies, and some new modes. We need some overall longer lasting freshness to help us perk up people after the new killers have been out a while.

(lol, I feel like Rin is out right now....I just can't play her.)

Hmm, I wouldn't mind seeing harder tier challenges in the dailies honestly. Or a separate system called "challenges". Not sure what they would add, but it would give us something to work toward for a few days-to a week.

People who don't have much time don't go for p3...or even p1.
That's kinda dumb in the first place.

The devs already said they are not going to change how the dailies work. It's supposed to be random , and supposed to make people try playing different side/character.
I don't play much as well and I think it's fine.

Also , if you're "not in the mood for tryhards" then don't even start playing. What are you in the mood for? Ez 4k noobs?
And Why are you playing if you don't enjoy the game?
Like one smart man said once "maybe try Civ V and then come back to dbd".

There have been and still are active tournaments for DBD which by very definition is a "competition" and participants in said tournaments are "competing" so yeah it's competitive. Granted it's new on the competitive scene but give it time.

two children are fighting about a cookie, said participants are competing, thus its a competition.

Thats about as accurate as claiming that DBD is competitive.

Indeed, the devs tried an official tournament once and it was a complete desaster uncloaking the actual unbalance of the game

The reason why it isn't is because only one killer is always played in those competitions cause nurse has the highest kill potential compared to all other killers. I love playing every killer, but she does have the most potential compared to others which is why she was only played in the DBD tournament. She avoids all pallets.

That doesn't make it competitive, that just means there's a group of people trying to shoehorn competition into it.

It cannot be competitive due to the high level of RNG across the entire game. There's no way to properly match players based on skill, as even the generation of any given map can greatly sway the tide in either sides favor.

It's a casual PvP game. It's grindy, random, and not designed for actual competition.

Games like hearthstone have showed us that rng and competitiveness can go hand in hand, whether you like that or not is a different story, I hate rng in games btw....

But blizzard is known for his well balanced games and Dbd... well

Shadowverse is sponsored by E-Sports so your argument is based purely on your own personal opinion. Please don't confuse it with facts.

Your argument against me is that a CCG is an e-sport, so an asymmetrical multiplayer game should be as well? You do realize that doesn't work, right?

CCGs are strategic. There's a small amount of RNG that you need to deal with in regards to how your deck will play out, but you still build a deck and can increase the chances of getting specific cards for your combo by adding more of those cards to your deck.

CCGs are designed for competitive tournament play. There is a large amount of strategy that goes into crafting decks, you need to be able to think on the fly and adapt your strategy to counter your opponent's deck, etc.

Comparing CCGs to DbD is apples and oranges. DbD is not designed, fundamentally, for e-sport levels of competition. There's too much RNG involved. If the maps were static and consistent, then maybe it could start to move towards a competitive environment. But when the generation of the map, alone, can literally decide a match, skill goes out the window. Therefore, it is not properly balanced for the level of competition you would find in an e-sport.

E-sports need a level playing field in order to ensure that matches are skill-based. DbD does not have a level playing field in any way, shape, or form. I fit did, people would not be constantly complaining about a lack of balance.

    1. Asymmetrical games are so rarely competitive for a reason, especially this game. DbD is just a casual, fun game.
    2. To focus on making it competitive, would mean catering to the 1% of the player base that play that way, which would kill the game (see 1).
