Who is the guy doing then narration in the archive. I've never unlock the full tone only bits and pieces so I don't know if it explains it. Still its bothering me on who in the hell that guy us and why he's not a killer or survivor how is he aloud to just be there. And where dose the lore begin is there more outside of the tomes we know. Is dbd special edition diffrent from dbd

    Special Edition just gives you some free chapters and cosmetics for buying the game at an extra cost. The lore for characters is more on their backstory before they were in the Entity's realm, not sure about the other ones. The Observer (your Archives guy) isn't the only character in the game mentioned that's not a Survivor or Killer, there's a couple other people such as: Vigo, The Alchemist, Alex, and Benedict Baker, people that are usually only there for lore.

    Okay so i will make a list of all i know

    1.the guy narrating was either a surrvivor or killer before

    2.he talks alot about surrvivors going insane and offing themselves wich makes me think he was a surrvivor

    3.no dbd special editon is just normal dbd just with more base dlc instead of the four you normally get

    Vigo, Alex and Benedict are for sure survivors. Don't know about Alchemist, but I guess he also is survivor, or at least was.
