Map Reworks!
Thanks devs! I'm really excited about this change as both a killer and survivor! Combining these reworks with the reduction in repair speeds for multiple survivors on a gen should make the game a lot more interesting!
Sincerely, thank you!

For anyone who hasn't seen what the new map updates will be:

This entire Dev Update has me pretty happy. so far it seems to be a good one - on paper that is.

They did not say anything about breakable walls in other maps yet though

Will be interesting to see how they play out in a real game. So i'm looking forward to it.

I'm hoping for that to help with the queues as clearly not enough people want to play killer lately.

Loops like that feel cheap and a little boring as survivor too. It's almost a guaranteed escape or else the killer risks losing the whole match. Actual mindgames are fun.

Finally! Hopefully resource efficiency will be consequential going forward. I always found it absurd that a survivor could camp and drop pallet after pallet with few repercussions on many maps, because even if you ran low on pallets, you just run to Ironworks window or whatnot.

I'm glad that there is an update finally that has people excited to play killer.

I wish they’d also reduced the size of Ormond and Mother’s Dwelling, but this is a great update and I think it will be very good for the game’s health. Can’t wait to test out the new map changes on the PTB!

Incoming survivor whining in 3... 2... 1...

This is one of the best updates we have seen them release in years. First update I've upvoted in quite a while.

Well gen rushing will still always be a thing if you have an optimal team, especially swf. This update will at least buy some time for killers and it might make them feel less pressured by the gen speed. In my opinion the map reworks look promising especially these so called god loops being nerfed. Guess we will just have to wait and see tomorrow.

They should have added gate spawns to one of the things they wanted to fix with all of these changes to maps. It's ridiculous that I can see both gates standing still or barely moving. End game collapse already favors me so much, that I can't believe this was overlooked.

Gate spawns are fine. An escape shouldn't be guaranteed because the gates are too far away to patrol.

Thats dumb logic, that is basically saying a survivor should be able to run a loop for as long as possible no matter how strong it is.
You can't say god loops are game breaking and then say, exit gates are fine. You're being biased and it shows.
