Survivor mains: You'll have something to do besides hold M1 all game and act like a toxic trashbin. Maybe now you'll learn to pick your fights a bit more wisely. You won't have an easy game that takes no skill anymore, hopefully

Killer mains: You won't be bullied by aforementioned toxic survivor mains who pallet stun, flashlight blind (or a combination of the two, the worst), godloop, etc. FINALLY!

People who play both (self included): Best of both worlds! Reap the benefits!

Guys, please learn to see the upsides to this all around. You don't benefit from being toxic and trashing much needed changes to people who get stomped on in so many games. That entitlement needs to end. These updates will help end it.

I am pretty sure the „potato“ survivors will have an even worse time than before though, but „git gut“ I guess.

the „potato“ killers will still complain because matchmaking will result in some games where it’s not super ez for them. (Remember: no „git gut“ here pls)

for the „pro“ players, not much will change. The toxic ones will still be toxic and ruin the experiences for the others.

SWF with prove thyself will still be a problem, at least the god loops are gone.

I don't necessarily think that's true for the grey rank people. They wouldn't understand god loops, powerful closed in tiles, or gen speeds immediately. They'd probably just kinda wing it until they understand or watch Otzdarva or someone else really good play and take notes from that. That's what I did, I'd still recommend learning from the best either way. Survivors will be fine. I will be fine playing as one I'm certain. I'll just have to find other ways and means. I'm already keen on playing a stealth game over looping anyway.

SWF with Object of Obsession will be even worse still. But these are much needed and hopefully people won't run them that often. It kinda sucks the fun out of things.

Sure hope so, I hope this makes killers a bit more fun and fair and less campy/tunnely.

Just had another game where the first person unhooked got cleanly tunneled, that just immidiatly ruins the gmae for me so I just run up and die.

Wanna know why killers tunnel right now so often? Answer: they've had to put up with a lot of toxicity. I stated it in my OP. God loops/pallets, powerful tiles, fast gen speeds even with the toolbox nerfs, etc...All of that comes to an easy "hold M1" game unless the killer finds you. And when he/she does, they'll want to get you. The problem you mains do is that...you instantly unhook. It's called "hook humping" and it's really frowned upon. So that's why you get tunneled as of now. Not because killers are doing it massively to be malicious. Will I go after someone who just got unhooked 5 seconds after I hooked them? Yes, if I don't see the other person first. Why? Because that was too quick. You have to WAIT. Get other things done first. I play survivor quite a bit and I know enough of what I'm talking about. These changes benefit us all. Survivors don't have to rely on cheap tactics, and killers get a break. Maybe tunneling will be less of a problem.

thanks for creating a scenario in which is ok to return to the hook/tunnel....ish, thats not the scenario im talking about though so yeah....

And also, should watch the movie The Platform, excellent representation of the "do unto others what has been done unto me", sure if the game has been going for a while and the survivors are a bunch of cheap toxic mofo's, do whatever you need/want.

But this was at the very start, and they avoided the unhooker entirely in favor of the unhooked, I mean there as well, you can do whatever you want but dont come complaining aobut survivors immidiatly suiciding on a hook then later, we want to play a game, that requires a bit of teamwork even if you are playing against eachother honestly.

“You won't have an easy game that takes no skill anymore”

But killers still have that and nobody seems to have an issue with killers having the easy game.

    You’re such hypocrites.

No they tunnel because they’re as lame and toxic as the survivors they complain about. Killers have been worse than survivors this last year for toxicity. Waiting until bleed out, trolling with hatch, hitting on hook etc etc

    Are you kidding me?

Everyone, since the ruin nerf has been complaining that gen times are too fast.

Games aren't lasting long, survivors and killers have been depipping because the matches end way too fast.

It was a major complain from both sides.

Who are you referring to as "potato" survivor?

If it's for new players, i doubt they really have it worse. They often simply don't know of the capabilites of strong loops. Often they will even ignore pallets, running away in a straight line.

The real, "boosted" potatos though, far outside their rank and totally relying on abusing strong loops, they totally deserve this change imo.

The only people upset at this update are toxic players and potatoes, because there best strategy that was clearly an exploit in game design has been taken away. The players with actual skill will still be fine. The gens are still gonna go quick, just not as quick, especially the more people on 1 gen. You won't be able to run in packs anymore bullying the killer, your gonna HAVE to split up and actually use TEAMWORK. Don't worry, it's not like there nerfing there precious comms. You can still talk to your buddy on the other side of the map... 🤷‍♂️

If you're a experienced survivor these changes won't even phase you, I know they won't affect me. So long as you understand movement and tiles you'll always be able to run any killer that isn't spirit or nurse. The only thing this upcoming patch does is remove the brainless loops that required no skill from the survivor side of the chase, now you as the survivor won't have to rely on a in mindgamable loop and can practice of your pathing and movement around other tiles, like I said before if you're a good survivors then this really doesn't affect you as you still have Jungle gyms, LT walls and shack to work with not to mention 4 perks of your choice to extend your chase. So just quit pointing fingers and learn to adapt. Survival of the fittest.

Yep, us good survivors aren't really affected by this change, I don't need an infinite or broken loop to be able to run a killer. People seem to forget that survivors still have jungle gyms, killer shack, LT wall that can link into other LT's or pallets. Literally the only people complaining about this upcoming change are the weaker survivors and the toxic ones who won't be able to bully the killer anymore. All I can say to them is (Git Gud) learn to run other tiles more efficiently and consistently and you'll be fine.
