[Blood Warden] needs a timer like [Make Your Choice] has

I don't think it needs that. The perk should be an advantage to the killer. Giving a timer to the Survivors takes part of that away.
For example, If I know that Blood Warden is going to expire in X amount of time and that makes it much easier for me to decide to go save someone, go and hide in a corner somewhere, or start sprinting to the gate.
I think it really injures a perk that is situational only. Keep the killer's perk hidden and force the survivors to make the choices without information.
Now Make Your Choice is fine since it implements a specific condition on a person not on the map entirely.

I agree. Perk lights up when you can use it, it'd make sense for it to have a timer and go dark once it procs. I also think that if you have someone on a hook when the gate opens it will automatically proc. It's kinda wonky to get it to work sometimes.

He means a timer for the killer, on the perk icon, the same timer you see for perks like MYC. He's not saying a timer for survivors.

What makes it work is the element of surprise. Without surprise people can just leave before you can get the survivor to a hook

By making it part of the standard killer kit what they're doing isn't giving the killer an advantage they're just encouraging survivors to stop screwing around after the exit gates are open. In theory. In practice they'd just crouch around hiding till the 60 seconds are up and then continue holding the game hostage till the killer quits just like they do now. Either way making BW a base part of a killer's kit does not help killers, not really. It just seems like it does so they can say "Hey, killer buff!"I don't get why they want to make perks part of any base kit anyway. Kindred. Blood Warden. It wouldn't work like they think.

Ummm... just look at the open gate and look into it? You can literally see the spikes blocking the exit to check. I can see them from 20 meters away. They don’t dissolve away like when a Killer gets near, then walks away.0

Make your choice shouldnt have a timer, yeah
There is too much notification and UI already, lets reduce that a bit and actually force the player to pay attention to the game

Yes (I am the OP),, I meant from the Killer perspective
so you have this logo with the shadown in clockwise like MYC has while enabled
this lack of feature is simply a mistake, so devs may add this feature soon(TM)
no base kit, the surprise-trollmax is amazing, just the timer needs a fix
