Kinda funny to see how many survivors are crying now but they call Killer mains crybabys?
Just funny to see :D

Both sides have their 'bait' posts, but in majority of these situations I don't get why they're getting angry.
I for one can't wait for these changes.

But but... my infinites
7 -
Nobody was complaining about the removal of infinites. We were complaining about the lack of pallets that exist now and the sheer amount of dead zones there are.
10 -
Plus the entitled killer's taking their turn with the victimhood mentality. This will be reversed with the next update lol
5 -
It's time to show your actual skill now. Killers were said the same thing when ruin was nerfed
19 -
It's all so tiresome, killer and survivor mains love to cry over anything.
5 -
I mean... live in your echo chamber if you want to ig.

Just wait for the next update, where a Killer nerf will occur (potentially the nerfing or removal of bloodlust) and Killers will come here en masse to complain about it, before the Survivors tell them to "git gud" and laugh in their misery.
A theoretical situation, but it seems to be the pattern. Killers complained about Ruin, Survivors complained about breakable walls, Killers complained about Sabotage, and now Survivors are complaining about map changes.
I'd hate for this to be true, but I can't say I have confidence in the community anymore. Not when we're all at each others throats like this.
7 -
Agree these changes are healthy for both sides!
3 -
Yes now I cant loop anymore :C

According to peanits the only map that had changes to pallets was disturbed ward. Down to 2 pallets in main building from 4.
So, you know, i think you're misinterpreting the situation a tad.

I agree with you there. But I wonder why the devs would remove Bloodlust. I saw some ppl talking about this but imo bloodlust is not bad, unhealthy or a unbalanced mechanic. Bloodlusting pallets is less skill full as mindgaming yes but it is still a strategy used in a chase and can end up in funny and interesting situations. I personally have fun beeing bloolusted at unsave pallets, at that point the Killer has the upper hand but IF he does a mistake or you manage to pull a very nice mindgame off and manage to escape from this place, you feel like a god as survivor. Its just my opinion thought :)

We really got to stop making posts that just attack and degrade the other side.
I like the post that said "play both sides to have a truly valid opinion."
But this is silly. Both sides have complaints and perspectives. We should discuss these things and not just attack others of a different opinion.
Isn't that why we are on the forums?

I have eyeballs and I went on the PTB.

What deadzones though? The only map I can think of that possibly has too much space with nothing is Thompson's House near the Cowtree, and maybe Wretched Shop from what I've seen.
1 -
Of course survivors will complain when they become weaker and killers will complain when they become weaker.
2 -
You're just getting unlucky then if you see less pallets.
1 -
Can only get unlucky so many times in a row.

Oh well pardon me, random user whom i have no verification of ability to collect and report data. I'm not saying they couldn't have screwed this up and introduced a bug or that i necessarily trust the devs, but i am saying there are a ton of cognitive biases that cause situations exactly like this. Map rng is lousy sometimes and the map in question (based on your comments in the thread where peanits confirmed you are mistaken) didn't have any changes according to patch notes. So I tend to lean towards you're misinterpreting the situation. Your refusal to allow for that possibility kind of reinforces that.

I have over 1000 hours on this game. I have seen this map endless amounts of times. Something is not right if we're getting less pallets consistently. Either there's a bug or a change that was unannounced. Either way, it's not good.

Sounds good dude, I guess we'll see if you're right or not. Just out of curiosity, what would you accept as evidence that you're wrong?
2 -
I know the devs are not the kind of people to lie about something that can effect gameplay as much as this, I haven't played PTB but from looking at other people the pallet density looks just fine. Maybe test a few maps?
2 -
When I first started it was heavily killer sided and move towards survivor. Now it will return to killer it seems. I hope they do some small adjustments to the pallets. Even unsafe ones would he nice for the deadzones.

Just out of curiosity, when did you start?

Killer mains are cry babies. 🤷

Some time around Clown DLC release. Was either right before or after it dropped.

Kinda sad to see how many killers still cant comprehend what changes are good and what are bad, and just crying every update like babys.
2 -
Stop it you are hurting me ;C

And here I thought forums were supposed to have useful/Interesting stuff in them, but it's filled with these threads instead.
2 -
What you mean it isn't cool to make pointless posts designed only to antagonise and not contribute to a single thing?
**Shocked Pikachu face**

I haven't played the PTB or anything, but I can think of why the other person might see "less" pallets and more deadzones, and that's because, while they may not have removed pallets, they have spaced them out more on some maps. As such, the pallet count hasn't been reduced, you just don't encounter them as often as you have to run farther, causing the illusion of there being less. And since tiles have been spread out to stop "chaining", this has the side effect of causing said deadzones the other user mentions.

Nice first post bro.

To be honest I like how the new changes are meant to make survivors scared of killer instead the other way around and now it does not seem annoying when the killer catches you since now it seems like a real horror movie. Survivors always cry if they get beaten to early or they think the killer tricked them. If a killer catches a survivor its either skill, luck, or survivor made a dumb choice. Survivors have many ways to torment a killer like flashlight, loops, pallets, and even just annoying them but since they can't know they are just going to complain.

It's just interesting that you made an account JUST to reply to me is all.

When you take away God loops and windows

I think it's funny how delusional you are when everyone and even developers are telling you that the number of pallets haven't been changed except for asylum.
2 -
I'm mainly focused on the increase in dead zones. If you're going to split up the L and T walls even further apart, maybe it's time to add more than 8 pallets to some maps.

So you’re upset over not being able to hold W and throw pallet after pallet?

Use your critical thinking skills before commenting dumb #########.

To be fair, its near impossible to hide on most maps. With the sheer number of tracking perks, killers that have a little experience has a tendency to know where survivors are at all times.

It's great at how you see specific individuals here scapegoat and straw-man real issues that players have with the PTB to "SMH U JUST DONT WANT UR INFINITES GONE 😤😤😤".
Who do you think is falling for this, or are you just that illiterate that anyone who disagrees with you must advocate for infinites.
0 -
Yeah I know true that since I do try to hide which works 50/50. When I play killer they hid really well unless you leave scratch marks. Usually best thing is to run and confuse the killer.

Oh yeah just 360 the killer in a dead zone for 2 minutes. Ez pz, git gud if you can't 4head!
