At Least Huntress is More Enjoyable Now
So just typing this after a few matches and watching the forums get lit on fire. I believe Huntress us more enjoyable to play now. I am a Huntress main with several hundred hours into her, but since her release she has received multiple nerfs with no compensation back.
It has honestly been annoying to play her at red ranks unless I run hatchet wind up addons. At least with these map changes and removal of god loops I don't have to spend 5+ minutes running around asylum with no hope of getting a hatchet throw. Also the map reduction is not much, but at least with her 110 movement speed I can apply a little more pressure. So thank you devs for making my favorite killer a little more viable.

Not sure about deadzones, but devs did confirm they only changed number of pallet spawns on a single map. Which is insane asylum which now only spawns 2 pallets Instead of 4.

Beautiful, now we see even more of this killer with broken hitboxes.

It's not the killer that has broken hitboxes. It's that they use capsules for survivors and not actual hitboxes, AND that dedicated servers delay the survivor side visual.
Huntress hatchet hitboxes are okay, it's just their application that is lacking.

You also forgot that huntress hatchets are beachball size instead of being rectangular.

They desperately need to change it. I refuse to play against one until it's changed. You can't counterplay gigantic hitboxes with server delays.

Volleyball at best. Beach ball? Like 2 or 3 ft wide? Really? Come on.
They have a globe that encompasses them. Whe they tried rectangles it resulted in ######### up hits that shouldnt happen. Worse than we still have.

I thought slow killers would benefit the most of this /minus spirit cause shes dumb regardless/. It is like devs forgot what the game is/was after the last killer and suddenly early in the morning they decided they have to fit the maps for them/slow killers/, nevermind BIlly is still the same or that they gave a freaking teleport to Freddy just a few months ago/. So yea I am happy for huntress. At least now people will be reminded why she is actually one of the top killers and extremely powerful/ she is also broken same as Billy in someones hands who can actually play her at her best - can't really tell if you are one of them cause you seems to be more annoyed with just maps and not the I can't win with her type/

My bad your right but I really hoped that they could go back to the idea of rectangular shape.
Instead of the current volley ball size.
Or it could be a disk shape that would be better imo.

So you DC/suicide on hook against huntress? Wow. Sad that you ruin the game for 4 people instead of just playing it out and moving on. You can absolutely counter it though. Its not hard to dodge axes. And when one hits that shouldnt, why let it bother you? It's not YOUR FAULT, and it's a game. ######### happens.
But what you CAN control is leaving the game over stupid reasons.

When 6 out of 10 matches are this killer, I'm tired of "playing it out". She's way more popular than she should be and it's because of the devs did a sloppy implementation with her.

Definitely can win with her. Just it's not as laid back as I would like at times unless I run speed wind up addons. If I run anything but those I have to be ruthless. If someone unhooks someone in front of me you both go down. Can't just ignore one and move to the guy that unhooked you. Just on certain maps it's nearly impossible to apply gen pressure aside from the casual hatchet throw that makes people let go of a gen for a second.
