We all hate tryhards in the very depths of our hearts when we are trying to have fun and for some people the hate turns into depression like some have had and including me in the past years. I and many others would be so grateful to have an ai mode where not only can you hone your skills, but also earn bp and xp but just a little less than regular so when there are times where it is red rank survivors/killers when you are not even a purple rank and you feel like you wanna quit or die so badly, you can retreat to the happy place that is ai mode. its not only my wish, but many other's wishes but we don't just want this, we need it. If you are too lazy to fix the matchmaking, then make a bot mode to hold us over until you feel like it. i beg of you. (and don't say you can't do it you did it on mobile to fill in when players dc. saying you can't is bullcrap and we all know it.)

Question: How competent are AI survivors on mobile?

Mate just camp shack if you're doing that bad as survivor. If you're playing killer just wait a little longer for the next update, they're slowly turning killer into baby mode, which is what survivor role used to be (it still is currently, but not for much longer). I can understand having trouble as killer, but if you can't hack it as a survivor, which is even 10x easier than playing Guitar Hero on expert, idk if this game is for you. In all honesty, I feel like I just bit into a poorly written bait post.

l4d added competent AI ermm lets see now, about 12 years ago, but its probably beyond these devs.

Heck Battlefield has been doing 32 vs 32 players with competent detailed hitboxes since 2002...18 years ago....

Anywho, would be nice, but with these devs, big fat not going to happen

My bad, should've been more specific. Infinites needed to be removed, and big maps needed to be reduced, but middle sized maps didn't need to be touched. Plus removing pallets isn't balance. Pallet issues were fixed way back then, when double pallets and pallet vacuums were removed. Plus with bloodlust still being around, I don't think it's going to be healthy in smaller maps with less to work with. And ye Thompson House window is nice but it seems like they're going to extreme measures just to give low mobility killers a chance. All they needed to do with mid sized maps is change the layouts of the tiles, not reduce em. Shack being between two jungle gyms is busted, but that doesn't mean they need to be removed in order to compensate for map size reduction, they just need to be spaced further apart.

7 minutes? With 4 pallets? I mean kudos to you, but what kind of killers did you go up against? And more importantly, what kind of teammates did you have that allowed you to get chased for 7 minutes? I think that's a case of player skill alone and not balance. Any killer with an ounce of basic understanding of how the game works would not allow themselves to get ran that long. Then again, Asylum does tend to have quite a lot of jungle gyms. And I'll agree with gas heaven being a bi-polar map. And yeah initial PTB tests don't always go live, but it just seems that the worst of PTB changes always go live.

This is a massive yawn. That window spawns 3 feet from the top of the stairs. You will take the exact same hit you were going to take before running out of the building anyway...except this time you'll have fall delay whilst the killer has window vault delay instead of running down the stairs and out the door. One marginally useful window does not negate the annihilation of loops across most maps. Don't act like this patch really had anything for survivors. 🙄

The only place where I can see an AI in DBD is as a Tutorial so that Players learn more like "Repair Generators" or "Use M1 to hit Survivors". But for something which will be done only 1 time (at most) by the majority of people, this is not worth the effort.

And I dont think that BHVR should move ressources into the creation of an AI.

They dont have to right now but as peanits said, it may come. If you dc from a bot match then nothing happens since all bots. Anyways i'll shut up until someone replies

You can easily counter it, just wait at the stairs lol
