Not able to escape exit

I was playing as survivor against Freddy Kruger and as my friend opened the exit, I was not able to get out. The block was up and Freddy hit me, Causing me to be in the crawling state and that was when I was finally able to escape is by crawling out.

There is a perk that causes that called "Bloodwarden", are you sure Freddy wasn't using it?
