-_- ok... what do you think the next Killers powers are going to be?
Since it's pretty clear that a good amount of you don't like the new killer what do you think the next Killers ability is going to be? Also keep in mind that the next killer is coming out around Christmas time.

I'd really like one who could Teleport to injured Survivors in a certain radius so it's not OP, obviously this would have cooldown of about 25-30 sec and with addons, shorter, also, an ultra rare which would remove said radius, i guess i'd be pretty good, idk really

100% it will be something that does not make it an optimal Killer, because that is not what we aim for here in DBD.

Another non-viable killer that will get lost in the pool of trash killers.
Just insert a random power of your imagination, devs will manage to "balance" it accordingly3 -
I'd like a killer that introduces a new passive AOE mechanic that poisons survivors slowly.
Something like "The Rotten" that has a power that creates spores around the map that start poisoning survivors in a specific area. If the poison bar fills up they suffer a healthstate of damage.
This would make the game a lot more dynamic and give survivors something else to do (destroy the spores). It will also prevent gen rushing because strategic placement of spores will force survivors to destroy them before being able to safely work on gens.Add ons would modify the cast speed, amount of spores, range of effect, speed of effect, etc.
For iridescent add ons a really cool one would to to give you a single, indestructible spore that will pretty much shut down an area of the map.0 -
Way too soon to tell, Most likely another original killer.
My guess is a pirate killer with a hook ability ether to stun or pull survivors to the killer0 -
I want a killer that can place mimic chests and items. A chest = an instant down but only one can be placed at a time. Items will be usable but only have half the charges and give the killer vision on the player while the item is being used.
Add ons can apply negative effects on item usage. Like making a flashlight short out if used for too long or a med kit actually lowering the meter if a great skill check fails.
Other addons could be things like immediate harder to land skill checks or things that force them to hang onto the item.
We shall call the killer "The Merchant" or " The Toy Maker" and now i want them to be an evil elf lmao1 -
The new killer should be One Punch Man.
Power: One Punch!
Punching the survivor kills them immediately.1 -
Another mid tier killer. The devs are creative with the powers when it comes to original killers but all the killers we have been getting for the last year have been solid mid tier at the very best. I want to see another killer that can run in the ranks of the top 3 meta. It doesn't have to be a beast mode like the nurse but something more along the lines of Billy/huntress. A fun, viable killer that gives the competitive side of the game more flair and choice.

The devs did good work on the killer, they might give her adequate tracking on day. Amazing designs. New killer idk, maybe someone like the feaster.

I'd like a killer with a power similar to the Molded from Resident Evil 7.
In RE7, the Molded could come out of anywhere that had mold, whether it be the ceiling, wall, or floor. It could even block doorways.
For the killer, the power would allow the creature to place residue from it's body down on gens, windows, the wall, or the floor.
If residue is placed on a gen, survivor's can't interact with that gen until they remove the residue. The more survivors there are to remove the residue, the quicker the action is. A lone survivor removing the residue would take 14 seconds, with add-ons able to increase the removal time.
If a window has residue on it, it inflicts the Hindered status effect, as well as causing the survivor to slow vault. Once a survivor vaults the window twice, the residue is automatically removed. The residue can also be removed from windows before a chase, but will inflict Hindered on the survivor who removed it. Removing residue from a window would take around 6 seconds, with add-ons able to increase the removal time.
Placing residue on the walls and floor would simply act as teleportation, while running into the residue causes the Hindered status effect. If a survivor is affected by the residue's Hindered status effect, they also vault pallets slowly.
The creature will also be able to teleport to any generators or windows that have residue on them at the expense of it using up the residue. The residue gets reused like Hag's traps.
Not sure if the residue should be based on charges or a set number. I also don't have a name yet, I'll edit in a name if me or another forum user comes up with a cool one.1 -
I want them to make killers near Hill Billy's level, he is balanced, not overpowering. at least any killers that are good without add-ons
a Killer with the ability to pull survivors like Gatekeeper from Identity V would be nice, or Killers that have power-levels, where they can upgrade their level one by one as their power grows stronger
The devs said they are trying to bring killers viable without-addons, but they only did with the hag, trapper still reliant on add-ons and so is the Spirit and many others

@Dabrownman1812
I forgot to mention as well, that to teleport to gens and windows would make teleporting have a longer animation. He would have to crawl out of the gen (giving survivors a chance to run) and on the window, there's a 50/50 chance he'll crawl out on the right or wrong side.

That's prob not gonna happen lol
Not in a million years, but it would be the next killer on the roster if I were in charge.
Good thing you're not. Dope idea, but hag+clown is a bit much.
We need a killer who can prevent looping and help slow genrush. The killer would get extreme nerfs once these were fixed. Rank 1 killer is such a pain in the ass right now though that I figured this would be nice.
I had an idea for a killer similar to the Doctor, called the Yeti, but instead of madness, it would inflict cold-based effects (such reduced interaction speed, loud shivering, and eventually slowed movement speed). With this kind of power, it would make chases easier for the killer (with slowed vaulting speed initially, and slower movement speed over time), in addition to reduced stealth because of the shivering (which would overtake grunts of pain, with maximum shivering being louder than being injured). I had some okay perk ideas, but I don't think some people liked them. The cold would increase and decrease depending on the situation. All of the burn barrels found on I believe every map would reduce the cold effects, and huddling with another survivor would do the same. I could rehash all of the ideas here, but I already made a post about this killer.

Another idea I had, but wasn't too fleshed out was a killer similar to Michael Myers (sorry my ideas aren't too original), but it would be a mummy killer. The mummy would be slow to start, but their power would be like Evil Within where it gets better over time, they would be able to "life steal" from survivors (a channeling ability, which would prevent the killer and survivor from moving until either the killer has been stunned, or the killer has stolen enough life from the survivor. The "life steal" power would enhance the abilities of the killer, and permanently hinder the survivors when they get hooked or downed, with a decreased time it takes for them to die.

Make a killer that can use telekinesis to lift up and throw the pallets at the survivor~
Some complains about pallet loops, right?

I made a very lengthy suggestion back on the Steam forum, but the gist was, a Killer who can jump between poles he himself places, which grant him a greater FoV and allow him to pounce on Survivors, instantly putting them in the dying state.

Honestly a killer that has HUGE map pressure. I wanted a killer to stop loops and end chases and they gave us clown and even though he isn’t bad he doesn’t have HUGE map pressure so I’m aiming for something that can teleport (not blink or phase) a magician perhaps (the dark magician jk lol)
Edit: and yes some may say oh the hag teleports which is true but she has to place down traps (which can be destroyed) and she’s slow so someone with less drawbacks0
