The real stat to see...how many matches do all 5 gens get completed? The devs won't say because it's probably 90% or higher. SWF is the best at getting all gens done and then dying trying to save their one friend because they feel invincible.

Ok, @Reborn2020 I will take the post at face value. Whether it's a bait or not, I will take it as you say it on here.
I'll put a TLDR incase, but dont complain if you didnt read my ideas
I would like to disagree that this game is killer sided. In my opinion, if both the killer and the survivors are the best of the best in a match, survivors will always win, because, as the devs say, they balance their game around solo-survivor gameplay. And even then, before this new patch, the survivors had a LOT of map things working for them.
In most maps, before the 3.7 update, there are areas that are HUGE. And in these huge maps are tons of safe pallet and windows. Hell, some of these maps had god windows. Im not saying that survivors shouldn't have safe loops, but the amount of then is just absurd, and you shouldn't have to "just bring bamboozle" to block on 1 specific loop. With the new 3.7 ptb/update, I feel it is getting more balanced to either side.
If it was so killer sided, then why is it that survivors can legitimately bully a killer in the game? Yeah, you can still 4k from it, but does it feel earned, or did the team usually let you have it because of their alturistic behaviors (literally throwing themselves at the killer to try and save someone when they could wait 10 seconds and probably get them for free then).
Let's compare to everyone's favorite "DBD killer" Resident Evil: Resistance. In that game, as the killer of the game, you can lose a game, but you can't be bullied. They just played better. They do not tbag, or purposefully wait at the exit to taunt you.
In DBD you have survivors that go out of their way to bully killers, and then claim victim when they go on hook because they did something dumb. I am not saying that killers cant be toxic, but there are a LOT more survivors that play topically than killers.
I admit, I am not the best killer. I'm not a 3000+ hour god at the game. But I've gotten to experience the "deathsquad" 4 man swf that relentlessly bully you in and out of the game.
I will try to use numbers to back up my point here too. Let's say that both killer and survivors are being super optimal. Since each gen takes 80 seconds and you have to get 5 done, 4 survivors have to do, at least, 400 seconds of gens. If you divide that by 4, then each survivor needs to be on a gen for 100 seconds (1 minute, 40 seconds) . For 3 survivors, that time is now 133 seconds each with a remainder of 1 second. If a killer wants to keep up with this, and let's say that keeping up means getting all 12 hooks for all 4 survivors, has to down and hook a survivor for every 33 seconds a single survivor is on a gen. If you have 3 survivors working at the same time, you have to down someone every 11 seconds to keep up with the work that survivors are putting in. Is this balanced?
Tldr: this map is balanced for solo-survivor play, and kyf makes the game unbalanced as hell.

Someone here literally posted more than 100 games(rank1) with 3-4kills every game as addonless plague which already proves my point.
You can all scream "bait" all you want . You only showing that you clearly have a lot to learn when playing killer and that your logic is one sided.
The fact that you mentioned low tier killers proves that you post before read .

Just for the record, it was not 3-4 Kills every game, all games were 4K. That was the point of the 4K streak :P

We did it guys. We found the one who was hogging all the bad survivors and left the rank 10 killers with rank 1 survivors. Matchmaking solved, we can all go home now.

Are you serious right now? The video isn't even a montage. I knew it was just a clickbait title the moment I realized that, but just to make absolutely sure, I went and looked at the guy's channel. He doesn't have any other game in this "streak" posted. He was just exaggerating how well he does with Plague and used a clickbait title. And even if he was actually trying to be serious about this, this wouldn't be anything close to valid proof of over 100 games in a row with 4Ks.
By the way, for all the ignorant people in this thread calling the OP bait, this video's title is what bait actually is. I'm amazed at how many people have no clue what bait actually means and just throw the phrase around whenever they don't like a post as if they're actually making a point instead of making themselves seem ignorant.

The game also shouldn't be balanced based on rank 1 killers lol. Nor rank 20 survivors who couldn't hit old ruin skill checks. But alas.

You would also need to somehow prove they were being recorded in a row. Anybody can just mash 100 4Ks together. How did you not get that from your own original post? Did you honestly think anybody would accept you coming back in a few days and just saying "Hey everybody, I just got 89 4Ks and 11 3Ks in my last 100 killer games. Point proven."?

Start playing more fairly instead of hook camping/returning and you wont 3/4K all the time.
Start playing without add ons and start bringing more meh perks if you desire a bit more challenge.
You can make this game as ez as you want for yourself, bring an Ebony Mori and certain add ons every game and yeah, you skew the game entirely in your favor, that is your choice though, if you enjoy taking candy from a baby....well seek help but you do you I guess.

I have been saying this for a LONG time, I totally agree, I dont mind it IF an "ultra rare" was actually freaking ultra rare, but people have hundreds of the damn things....
Both sides have these sort of ... tools.
Add ons are a fundamental problem in how a lot of them work, make X go faster or last longer.
It just means that EITHER the devs made a killer, adjusted the killer till they thought it was balanced and then made add ons that make the killer better in certain areas aka skewing the balance up, skewing the balance in the killers favor.
OR the devs made a killer, adjusted the killer till they thought it was balanced, then NERFED the killer so they are actually too weak which then can be fixed by equiping (mandatory) add ons to compensate for that nerf so we can have some balanced matches.
Making add ons just needless busy work to spend bloodpoints on...
Imo add ons should do nothing else but CHANGE the way powers work, a bit of give and a bit of take, there are some add ons like that in the game like Scratched Mirror for example.
Ultimately this comes down to the devs not wanting to commit to a ermm designation for this game, is it Casual or is it Competative?
If it is competative, then why these options that fundamentally ruin any sense of balance?
If its casual, then why cant we for example have a 21:9 aspect ratio resolution of those that have monitors like that.....I mean even freaking CSGO has that which is about as competative as a game can get but in DBD it would give you an unfair advantage?

You probably dont even play killer and just try to bait devs to nerf killers after being salty the game wont be survivor sided anymore after the new update.I swear some survivors will go beyond anything to keep their unfair advantages.If not I think you should try survivor if you actually complaing for doing what a killer should do.

Addons are not that strong (Expect pinks or certain purple) that gives you free 4ks. Also plague is a Killer that has a very well balanced base power, addons are not needed on her, same goes to many other new Killer such as Ghostface, oni, demo, doc, freddy or deathslinger.

Winning a lot doesn’t mean this game is killer sided.
1 Survivor’s objective takes less time than killers
2 Survivors have plenty of chase perks, pallets, and windows to hold up a chase
3 Survivors get better perks more often. Do you think most killers are gonna swap Spirit Fury, Enduring, Pop Goes The Weasel, NOED, or any of the older meta perks for Dead Man’s Switch, Furtive Chase, or Mindbreaker?

Out of curiosity, were you expecting me to just blindly take your word for it after I already mentioned that I went and looked through his youtube channel to see if there was a number of videos indicating a plague 4k win streak? Sorry to disappoint you, but I checked out his twitch videos and SURPRISE, pretty much identical to his youtube channel. I'm pretty sure you just don't understack clickbait. I highly doubt he was ever honestly claiming he had 116 4Ks with Plague in a row; he was just drawing attention to his video.

His Plague games were somewhat far back, but I definitely disagree that was clickbait. The man is dedicated to getting 4ks with any killer he plays. Awhile back, I watched him very frequently and he's had streaks of upwards of 5 months without letting anyone escape via exit gate. 116 is realistic for someone like him who is so insanely dedicated to getting 4ks.

I've been ghosting this forum for quite a long time, and I'm still confused about people complaining about how the Killers are much stronger. I mean from a lore stand point that's the point, no? How does it compare to the gameplay? I mean yeah, it's obviously a game that people can complain about and voice their opinions, but that just isn't how it would work if this was real life (Take this with a grain of salt people), can you try to explain it please?

Solo is extremely weak. I win constantly in red ranks since i started to play for kills even against swf. I was winning a bit less when i was playing for points .
Conclusion: solo is not balanced at all. Devs need to implement swf queues based on ranks or whatever as well. And people need to stop treating swf as unbalanced .
