Playing both sides
one day while I was watching some DBD videos Tru3 said “play both sides and see how it is frustrating for killers.” He was right. Playing survivor, especially if you SWF gens are easily done. Now I went up against several SWF and I got gen rushed within seconds. Now let me make this clear the devs should really look into my opinion the toolboxes why? I just think the toolboxes are why over look on how good they are. Yes the new patch is coming and all but yet if you have solo survivors they can still gen rush if they are really good at it. I just think they should make it tougher on fixing the gens. Not just as group but solos as well. What do you all think?

Toolboxes have already been nerfed.
This is not a "Played both sides post" It simply a badly hidden killer post as normal.

I think both sides can feel the issues to great degrees.
There's enough posts on here saying: "Killers have it so bad!" & "Solo Survivors have it so bad!"

Yeah. I am playing both on Rank 1 and solo survivor is (at least imo) not a problem at all.

I do play both sides. But here is the thing yes my killer rank is a bit more higher than my survivor rank but yet. When I play survivor I just how easily it is to gen rush. Either solo or with a group. But yet we all have different opinions.

No, your killer bias is what you are showing. Simple as that. Gen rush isnt the issue, SWF is the issue.

Unfortunately a lot of people think a good team = swf. I've been accused of something like this before. "You can only play together. No skills alone." But 99% of my Survivor games are solo. I don't see a big problem with swf. Most of them are overly altruistic.

True but yet they can still invite each other to party. On either platform and talk to each other. If SWF does get ban. That won’t stop them from inviting one another to a party on either platform.

Still harder to get into a group together for a match though. Unless you mean joining a party with whoever joins the lobby

Ok first off you are just assuming I’m bias. I’m not disagreeing with you about SWF. I see what you are coming from but that won’t stop survivors grouping up with each other.

Yes that’s what I meant, whoever joins the lobby they can simply you know just invite them to a private party on any platform And just talk to each other.

Not really. Whether you like SWF or not, there is no denying that being able to play with friends is a large part of the survivor attraction. You nix SWF and it'll make wait times now seem like a picnic. A huge bunch will move onto other games, while the rest will go back to lobby dodging to play with their friends.
I'm not advocating for either side here, 90% of my games are solo and my friends and i prefer to mess around in KYF. But you cannot deny that simply banning SWF will have a huge impact on this game and not for the better. Personally I'd like to give killers a chance not to feel so isolated by allowing 2 killers to team up against several survivors.
I think a lot of SWF forget that. When you screw up, have a bad game...you get to laugh and vent and mess around with your mates. Killer doesn't get to do that, they are stuck with their own frustration, and that just breeds bad feelings after a while.

Very true. But yet it just the fact that some SWF are just toxic like it’s ok if they are Toxic but it’s not ok if the killer is Toxic. Now I’m saying not all SWF are Toxic. It’s that those few who are. Just think it’s ok if they DC but it’s not ok if the killer DC you know what I am trying to get at.

These posts are so silly. Killers got this ego thing and can't realize that they're being run by solo players all day long. Everyone that's decent is a SWF team. Just constantly talking about how SWF is so strong. So broken. Yet playing today as a solo... I played a lot of matches. 3-4 people escape almost every game and we're solo. The only time people get killed is because NOED is super meta right now. And they usually get a NOED kill at EGC and camp the one guy for their kill. SWF isn't an issue at all. People are just really good at survivor. That's what will happen if you spend 5,000 hours running the same loops over and over again.

As a solo player without meta perks who constantly gets friend invites so killers can circumvent my having turned messages off, to tell me i'm an SWF cheater...I couldn't have put this better if I tried.

You do realise this goes both ways right? Killers do it too. It's not a role issue its a person issue. You do not automatically turn into a toxic butt-hat the minute you log in as survivor, nor do you turn into an oppressed saint if you are playing killer. Both roles have the capacity to be highly ridiculous, it's just easier to notice when the ratio is 4 - 1.
