Get Rid of Mori or Make it Counterable
I haven’t even gotten to enjoy or really play any games tonight because literally every killer tonight has had Ebony Mori and just tunnels right off hook. How is that fair? How is that even fun for the killer, you’re literally just ending the game quicker which is a loss of points for you Etc their boring and take away the fun from both sides in my opinion. There’s nothing you can do to stop them either which is extremely frustrating.
Edit: Yes I also agree Keys need to be reworked,counterable whatever term you wanna use. Also same applies to Gens/ Gen rushing as well. Exit Gate spawns also need to be fixed slightly but that’s a whole other topic/discussion.
This post was mainly about moris because I mainly played survivor tonight and every single match there was a Mori. I do play both sides so I do understand how frustrating keys can be or gen speed at times.

Just don't get hooked 4head.
All in all aside, it is nearly impossible to stop a killer from getting that mori that they so desire. They will smack you right back down the moment you get off that hook and you can't even use DS or anything to save yourself. Hope you had fun with a two second game because it's right back to a 5 minute queue for you.

I agree even tho ur mocking me. But I agree gen rushing is an issue and so are keys. Both moris and keys need some sort of nerf and or counter. You can kinda consider Franklins a counter to keys but if the survivor remembers where they lost it or another survivors finds it then it’s kinda pointless. So it’s a somewhat counter but not really much of one.
Technically there are counters to gen rushing with gen slow down perks and juggling survivors to where they can’t really do gens to an extent really just depends on how organized and stealth they are . So there is counter play to gen rushing just not to keys or moris. So why u tried to be a condescending a hole is beyond me.
Even tho u copied and pasted in order to mock me most of what you said doesn’t make much sense, keys don’t end the game early per say 4 survivors all gens need to be done, 3 survivors 1 needs to be left and so forth so I wouldnt say they end the game early like a mori does. Wouldn’t say keys take away fun from both sides either mainly just the killers side given the key is a last resort to escaping as opposed to a mori where a killer can just camp/tunnel and mori right off hook.
But other than all that Moris, Keys, Hatch, Gen Rushing all need some kinda fix to them to make the game a bit more balanced.

Well thank you lol. Yea it’s mainly cuz I only played survivor tonight and was getting extremely frustrated that every game had a Mori in it and was just being tunneled after unhook every game. Even had a killer who for some reason was specifically only going after me from the start of the game. Probably should’ve stopped when I was starting to get frustrated but ya know stubbornness lol.

Right back at you with Plunderer's and chests. Besides, as long as one exists in the game, the possibility of a free escape for any survivor (even all of them) is available for no effort (you can't call dedicating to gens effort, especially not right now).

You cant get rid of the mori its part of the killer charm some peoole play only to see those mori animation personaly i start to like killer because of that and if it was not of the mori i would have droo the game a long time ago

Sometimes I struggle to find it when Franklins comes into play. I know where I got smacked but the item isn’t there so I’ll scout that general area and it’s like in a different spot than where I got hit.

I offered you a counter and there you go. If you let the survivor pick it up and take off with it, that's on you.
End chases. I gave you a counter.
Sacrificing a perk slot for a CHANCE at getting a rare item in a chest sounds like a good tradeoff.
Remember, Plunderer's also gives brown toolboxes. So please, don't assume because a survivor has Plunderer's they receive an instant key.

I would love for you to come up with a way to nerf current Moris and have them still be useful.
The most requested change for them I see is to only work on last hook, but that literally defeats the purpose of the Mori which is to quickly kill a survivor instead of going through 3 hook phases. So you're gonna have to make them more useful than that to be useable after.

That’s like saying hey the counter to moris is don’t lose chases. So if you get a Mori done to you it’s your fault I just gave you a counter. It’s easy to sneak back and grab anything you’ve dropped even if you lose the chase. I’ve been hooked multiple times and still made it back to the spot I dropped stuff unless your other counter is tunnel anyone who drops a key into the ground.

In the endgame when you closed the hatch, how are you supposed to patrol both exit gates, the spot where the key is AND the hatch? I mean i think there's not really any possibilitx to do so.

for starters the killer has to hook u 1st and foremost. with god pallets for days and god loops and NO RUIN thats how its countered. gens can be done and gates opened in like 4.5mins which isnt alot of time. the killer cant down and survivor then tunnel that same survivor and not put pressure on gens.
@toxicnancymain i dont care about keys because its an end game item, BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID if mori's get nerfed again then they should remove keys out of the game
because survivors are OP and Mori's were alrdy nerfed???? because a game with 90% of killers who dont have mobility will have a game done is 4mins. moris are fine the way they are, get mori'd and move on to the next game and stop feeling entitled to free escapes. ######### if u guys want to nerf Mori's then advocate for corrupt intervention to block 90% of gens for the 2mins.

My more "conservative" idea is to require any other survivor to be hooked before the last person that got hooked can be mori'd. So if survivor A gets hooked, no matter what happens they can't be killed until survivor B, C or D has been hooked once. The only purpose of this idea is to prevent the hook -> stay sorta near hook -> tunnel -> mori situation that a lot of people hate - the killer has to go hook someone else first if they want to mori someone off their first hook.
Would you consider that still useful? Still faster than 3 hooks but I feel it would just "feel" at least a little bit less unfun and demotivating.

Fyi, your idea of fun might not be theirs.
If they do this, then that probably means they have fun getting quick kills and don't mind the slight BP loss.

Yo, actually, that is a pretty solid idea. Still almost as strong and it's like BBQ that rewards you for going after someone else (well in this case won't let you do it until you get someone else lol), while also preventing the toxic instant rescue->mori problem.
My only concern is it's kind of convoluted and isn't exactly the easiest thing to put for instructions in a game like this. Other than that though that's actually the first good idea for a Mori nerf I've seen in a very very long time.

Yeah not too sure how to describe it in a quick and easy way that would fit an in-game description, but I still think it's at least an attempt at a "compromise". I think mori-tunneling is a genuinely problematic thing and it's my #1 problem with moris as whole, but I don't have some sort of problem with moris existing in the first place or anything like that.

It’s not that simple all it takes is one little mistake or one little lag spike and that could result in being downed. So that’s not really a counter to it.
