How to be a fun Survivor.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Don't unhook a survivor if the killer was in the vicinity within the past 20 seconds. Give them time to get away from the hook

2) If a killer is camping another survivor. Do gens. The killer isn't going to leave and you're giving them what they want by not doing the objective.

3) If the hatch is closed, you're the last survivor, and there's no way you're escaping just walk to the killer to end the match. Who knows, they might let you leave through the gate for being a good sport.

4) If you've been tunneled, don't take it personally. You were probably the easier target out of all the available survivors in the vicinity.

5) If you're being camped on the hook... blame the devs for allowing the tactic in the first place and take some solace in the fact that the killer probably won't pip unless your teammates don't follow rule #2

6) If you bring a flashlight or key to a match, expect to be tunneled. The killer you're playing against has more than likely experienced a group of toxic survivors utilizing these items to remove any enjoyment the killer might have had in their last game.

That's all I can think of.

What suggestions do you have for Survivors to help create a fun gaming experience for everyone in the match?

3 is a sure thing. The only way that survivors get sacced when I've killed the other three is if they were a jerk, I had a challenge, or they dragged things out past where they were a foregone conclusion. If you're funny about it, I'll even give up on the first two. Nothing amuses me more than seeing a surv just stop dead in the middle of a field when I see them, and then crouch towards me.

If you've run a safe loop a few times, run to another loop just so we don't have to keep doing the exact same thing until Bloodlust kicks in. I'll intentionally stop chasing a survivor if I realize they haven't had a chance to not be chased, so please extend the same courtesy to killers.

Please don't chain stun or blind the killer. I know it makes for a good Twitch clip, but there's little that's more disheartening than just not being allowed to play the game until the survivors want to allow it.

Both of these. Flashing, T-bagging is just begging to be tunneled and, with GF and Pig as my mains, I will bag you right back while I camp you on hook in between slashes. Karma, buddy.

At EGC if I don't have max chase points and can't escape, I'm taking the killer for a walk, lol. Also if you're using the flashlight to stun, it's just another tool to get away, or make points, like the many in the killer's tool box to find you. I only clicky clicky at survivors though to get their attention. There has also been a few occasions where myself or my team (solo players, unless my husband was playing with me) was able to get someone off the hook from a camper and it went well. Usually you need BT & Sprint Burst & even then you have to hope they won't tunnel that specific survivor, or that the survivor being chased is good at looping. A camping Billy isn't worth it though, from what I've seen.

I agree with the bad manner bit, and even for other survivors someone bringing a key can suck. However if you've brought a mori, expect me to be immersed as possible and looking through chests.

do...GENS. whenever you aren't healing or looking for a totem just do the objective it helps everyone out. the amount of times i've died because people haven't done gens is astounding

Same as I said in the "fun killer" thread, don't play with making someone else mad as your primary objective.

And I'd also like to add the good old "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" to my previous statement, as that's like.. the least any player can do to avoid being an enormous hypocrite.

Here’s my one and only suggestion:

Play how you want, but if you can’t be polite post-game just say nothing. No trash talk, no insults, no threats, none of that. Either say gg or whatever, or just silently move on to the next match.
