I've always played for fun on both sides. I continue with it.

I forgot the option "Equip a mori" :/ At least there's the "other" option.

I just think something to the effect of "better watch out for that one" and proceed as usual. I remember who the key user was, and try to keep track of the key and whether the hatch has spawned as the game progresses. I might try to distribute hooks more evenly than I usually would to ensure that the hatch spawns as late as possible, if at all.

I don't consider it very useful to tunnel key users, since unless they're using a particular add-on, someone else can just pick up the key after they're dead. At least if the key user is alive for most of the game, I know exactly where the key is at all times, rather than having to worry about who picked it up after they died.

Lol, i'd have to actually look at the lobby to find out someone has a Key.

To put it more seriously: I do other stuff while the game loads me into a match, so i won't see who plays as who, who brings what, etc.

I never see what players I do have in my lobbies or items

A response to this question: I personally play as usual! No point in making things hell for survivors. I only do that if they make it hell for me.

That said, please don't ruin the game for anyone just because they have a key. Instead, deal with it professionally. Don't tunnel, don't Mori, don't use Franklin's. While it is a good perk, it's a waste of a slot because all it really does is drops someone's item and they can always pick it back up. Or another teammate can pick up the dead teammate's key and escape like that.

Thank you, have a nice day!

I equip a mori special for the person who the key. The very first time I see that person I hook them. Then I go straight back to down them after unhook and mori on spot. I DONT PUT UP WITH KEYS! I have enough key escapes from looted keys ( which it should be impossible to get a key from a chest ) there are only 2 reasons I will bring a mori

    1. A daily first person I down that is on death hook gets the mori ( fair )

    2. They bring a key I'm my lobby ( I'm relentless untill you are Dead )

If I notice that you have looted a key you ain't coming off the hook

    Period

I put other. Just because I am always alt tabbed after I queue. So I don't ever know what they're bringing. I just let them escape with the key. I don't see why people get so salty when a key is used.

Franklin's enough for me. If I don't have it on my current Killer, then I just go for it, however I keep track of the key user. I won't tunnel that survivor unless the hatch has already spawned or is about to spawn.

I play the game as usual, but I'm a bit more wary about the survivor. If there's multiple survivors with keys I'll probably just dodge the lobby, don't have to wait too long for another game

When I get a lobby I usually ready up and look at other stuff while the countdown is going on. So, I'm normally unaware if there's a key and I play as usual.

The exception is when I burn a bps or a pudding. In that case, I play for points, so I'm liable to dodge a lobby (key, toolboxes) if I think I won't be able to max out. However, when I do accept the lobby, I also usually two-hook everyone and let them go after I max out brutality/hunting/deviousness, just as a token of my appreciation because I fished for an easy-ish match. I won't need the full 32k, the difference in sacrifice points is beyond negligible.

I simply play more aggressively. You want an easy way out? Fight for it.

I tunnel the key if I actually notice the key in my lobby.

i don't tunnel or use franklins the key is like a mori its really strong but tunnel mori or franklins doesn't really work well someone else can still get the key just play for a challange or dodge the lobby if you don't want to play against them i wil always play against them give me a challange.

Since my eyes are not the best, I can't see keys in the lobby (so tiny and same color as the ground). Due to this, when I see a hatch escape with a key I am pissed and will tunnel them next game.

I continue to watch my Youtube video and completely fail to see all items/offerings before the match started.

It depends. If I want to try an Adept Achievement or if there's also a map and/or it is a SWF, I dodge the lobby if the queue is not that long. Else it depends on my mood and what killer I want to play. Then it's either Franklins, a Mori, or my main killer (if I wanted to play another). And sometimes, I fail to see the key at all XD.
