Hit boxes and all about the killer
The game would be so much funner if the creators would fix the killer hit box it is absolutely ridiculous when you jump through a window and you are 4 feet outside of the window and a killer could still hit you what is up with that also stop making the game all about the killer every update is all about the killer you’re making it impossible for the survivors to even have a chance. I know you trolling killers and camping killers are going to cry about this but let’s soak up your tears and learn how to play the game right because you know it is absolutely ridiculous on the hit boxes that the killers have. Please fix the game so the survivors have a better chance.

They were most likely just responding to OP‘s claim that the game and all its Updates are all just about killers, which isn‘t true.

The thing is for killers it appears like a normal hit.

its the same on the killer side, hits that hit don't, getting ported from the side of the pallet to the other, getting hit by pallets you are nowhere near.
but I do find huntress hatches to bug out more often.. that or hatches are the size of a small car.

Comments are comments doesn’t matter if you posted a 1,000 or 1 the truth of the matter is the only ones that cry about adjusting the hit boxes or just buffing up the killer are the ones that only play killer. It’s not the same on the killer side I play both and I find myself hitting survivors with impossible hits. Like when a Survivor jumps through a window and is four feet away and you still can hit them really ? I call bull crap I let the survivor go cause even I know that’s not even possible. There are bugs that need to be fixed is all I’m saying.

I don't buy that explanation entirely, though. I'm sure some are explainable because of latency, but there must be more to it. I definitely had hits that didn't connect on my screen and yet the game gave them to me. I'm not talking about borderline cases. Yesterday, I had one that was really disgusting. I lunged through a pallet gym coming at a right angle. I was just hoping to make them panic and drop the pallet. I knew I didn't have the distance. I knew it wouldn't have connected. I saw it didn't connect on my screen, except... it did and it was delayed as well.
32-36 ping and almost 1k hours.

Play legion, you'll see the bullshit hits when you use feral frenzy, you can hit a survivor that vaulted a window 3 seconds ago, and it'll connect. :_:

I'm not going to dispute this. I like many other killers have seen hits even on my end that don't seem like they should have connected. However, Killers very much get this phenomenon in reverse too. You know what I'm talking about....pallet stuns. I've lost count of the numbers of times I've been "stunned" by a pallet when I'm not even close to it. I'm all for doing whatever it takes to fix these seemingly impossible killer hits, so long as they fix pallet hits too.

It's not a latency issue, sometimes it can be, but the game prefers killer perspective, so actions taken by killers will always have priority unfortunately.
That's why you can often get hit through pallets despite stunning, get hit after vaulting and literally running away from said vault and etc. It's a disgusting exploit and I think it's dumb that it's in the game because one of the few counterplays to a killer chasing you isn't essentially safe.
The game is inconsistent in this regard, because either you can hit through windows or you can't. If you hit at a window, it will give you the animation of when you hit an object, indicating that you should be only able to hit a survivor when they're actually on the vault or before the vaulted, but the game breaks that 'wall mechanic' if you're on the other side for some reason.
they need to make it consistent, where either hitting through vaults is legitimate and doesn't behave the same way as hitting a wall or it isnt.

Its not about getting a free escape its about hit boxes. Killers have hit priority so if their lag and latency depend on what hits connect and from how far. On the survivors screen they get hit 5 seconds after vaulting even though it should not have hit. So before you make a post actually read the thread first.

Most lag switching is gone because of dedicated servers. And let me guess the surrvivor spun around and dodfed a hit? Try again dude hit boxes are a huge problem no-one was talking about lag switching so stick to the topic of the thread.

Sounds like another camping trolling killer crying cause he might eventually lose his advantage. No one ever asked for a free escape its all about playing the game right. If you tell me that someone like ghost face can use a knife and cut someone that is already across the pallet 2 feet away I don’t know what you’re smoking but you need to start selling it cause it must be good. Play both sides of the game before you go judging other ones comments.

atleast dedi hits will never happen after the mid chapter comes. They fixed vaults,from what i saw on the ptb. Ofc,if it makes it to live.

That’s good to hear, as a someone who mostly runs lithe as my exhaustion perk, it’s always been a gamble of whether the game decides to waste my ability by getting me downed even though I’m running with haste or if it lets me create the distance that I intended.

regarding the beginning of your post: thats latency. there is quite literally nothing the Devs can do about that one, as the game itself is working as intended.
regarding the second half: yeah who would have guessed that in order to properly balance a game the weak role needs more buffs than the already strong one.

Sorry but your point is wrong, the game isn't inconsistent on that part and many Dev streams have confirmed that a window/little fence/etc. let killers hit the other side but it needs to be close. The latency affects what is "close" to the servers and decides that way if it was a hit or not. It certainly have a delay which creates these strange hits/stuns and this is what it should be fixed.

This hitbox, latency lag issues affects killers as much as survivors.
Killers have been getting denied grabs because of this, and to a Nurse is a big deal because a failed grab+missed hit afterwards = fatigue.

Exactly. Hit boxes are one of the worst things in game because you get hit when you shouldnt and when you should get hit you dont. Its crazy annoying to see if you get lucky and can even get a few feet from a window before getting hit from the other side.

You also look to be only focusing on one side of the game and not addressing the problems of the other, many people already said here that Killers don't like this latency issues because many hits and stuns don't feel right for them either. I know you're gonna defend yourself by saying "I play both sides and see that this game is killer-sided" or something along those lines but at least try to sound like you play both sides by acknowledging problems from both sides.
