You should not be able to reopen the hatch after getting closed
Keys are just as annoying as moris, you can pretty much escape as soon as the hatch spawns completely skipping the late game of a match and the collapse,I am hoping this will be adressed soon since its not fun for either sides.

yeah, keys need a change. I do still think there should be a way for survivors to leave the game other than dcing if the killer has an insane 3-gen or something. maybe hatch could stay open longer but there is a decent cooldown on multiple survivors entering it?

Both are annoying, and both counter the other. Change them both or leave them alone. At least a key you can see in the lobby and dodge before the game loads in, if that is your preference.

Keys need a nerf, but I think one of the few times I'm okay with keys opening the hatch is after it's been closed by the killer. Seems completely fair to me. I think the hatch should only spawn if all gens are done, or only two survivors remain and at least 4 gens are done. That'd be a fair nerf to keys.

I am fine if they rework keys, I just hope they don't have challenges in the next tome that require you to open the hatch. If I ended up being the last survivor I would just follow the killer and let him find the hatch for me then reopen it 😁

I'm only ok with keys getting nerfed if killers receive a nerf along with them.

Both keys and moris need a rework, nerfs actually. The King's video had the best suggestions

Keys are not that bad. There are counters. The only way you can't counter a key is if they find one in a chest during the match. I don't understand the hate for keys.

Keys and moris both need some tweaking in my opinion. I think keys would be fine if only one person could use them. And I think moris would be okay if they could only be used during the third hook.

I'm gonna quote one of my favorite streamers on this:
"You can't call keys 'overpowered' or 'underpowered' because there isn't a power tied to them. You just WIN."
That's the issue with keys. It's not that they're not situational enough, or that they do too much, or yadda yadda yadda. The issue with keys is that at their very fundamental core, they are literally just a win button. It doesn't matter if it's a situational win button or a difficult-to-use win button; it is still a win button. There is no exaggeration when I say that a key's primary ability is to give you the option to press M1 to win the game. That is and always will be terrible game design.

New killer offering.
The Chain: Once placed, the hatch cannot be opened.
The following update, survivors get bolt cutters
:P
I agree. People might claim killer has a win button but they don't. Mori's you have to hook them at least once and it's an ultra rare. If they know how to loop and the other 3 gen rush, the killer might get 1k if they are lucky. NOED is a hex perk(No explanation needed). Keys are just rare items, they can be found in the bloodweb+in a chest and you don't even need to play the game to find the hatch. You can hide until everyone dies if you choose too.
