Fixing Toxicity issues
Maybe this sounds stupid, but what is it with those survivors on console? I know that this community is kinda toxic, but actually what the #########?(sorry for strong language) I wanted to ask how to convince the survivor´s to not play toxic. And for those that say "Oh well you are the problem you filthy legion main" and bla bla bla. You get the point right? I NEVER play toxic. Not even in the slightest. I play killer like a normal killer. If i get a 4K i get messaged: ######### u stupid noob using sloppy butcher.(or any other perk that is pretty good on legion) But if i have a bad game and get no kills for example: LOL NOOB KILLER BABY KILLER GET REKT LOL HAHA SO ######### GO #########!!!. So guys, any advices?
I will take any help and advice.
Thanks for reading! Have a good day! #StayHome

I agree. It's very hypocritical, but debating that point with people like that will fall on deaf ears, and only fuel the fire. You will never change their mind, and it just gives them more opportunity to sling more insults. Just ignore them, and report them for abuse.

You can't really stop toxicity, you can only suppress and contain it through the report system. There will always be toxic players in any game, there isn't anything you can really do about it i'm afraid.
Asking people directly to stop being toxic will most likely only yield more toxicity anyways, so it's best to just report and ignore these players entirely... It saves you the time and effort to be honest. If you come across players like these that're actively harassing you in post-chat, than please report them in-game for this behavior, as it's not tolerated.

Yesterday I played with ghostface because I wanted to use his offerings to farm. In my match there was a toxic guy using object of obsetion to emote me. I hooked him during the endgame collapse. They unhooked him and I downed 2 survivors. He saved from a flashlight. After the game he sent me friend request with the message "poor ######### ghostface". I didn't answer, I reported and I blocked. The toxic community sucks

You'll find it anywhere unfortunately, not just in this game. I've seen a lot worse toxicity in other games... but that doesn't excuse it regardless of how frequent it is or not in THIS game. It was good that you ignored, reported, and blocked them. What you did was the best outcome you would get out of that interaction.

All that you can do to reduce toxicity is to ignore it, and be as nice to other people as possible. Don't even bother trying to explain yourself to people that are toxic like that. You will never get through to them, and they will get satisfaction just from getting a reaction from you. Don't give it to them.
Btw, killer choice, perks, or addons are not toxic. They may not like them, but they are part of the game. They got beat and can't blame themselves so they have to blame something/someone else. It can't be their fault. :p

Just for the record though @giulianodannyfan, we're talking toxicity as in actual abuse here. Not No0b3's brand of toxicity where they just click flashlights and teabag a lot - that's not reportable.

I don't think that needed to be mentioned (personally), but it's good to be clear about what you're saying. And yes, BMing (aka Band Manners) in-game is not reportable. If it results in borderline harassment in post-chat, than that's a different story.
Most of the community has diluted the real meaning behind the word "toxicity" anyways, so it's easy to assume they're one in the same when you're new. In reality though, they're not exactly "the same" when you look deeper into it.

Yeah, since OP was talking specifically about "wannabe Noob3´s" when discussing toxicity, I just felt it was worth clarifying.

Fair enough. As said before, most of the community has diluted the real meaning behind the word "toxicity" anyways, so it's easy to assume they're one in the same when you're new. In reality though, they're not exactly "the same" when you look deeper into it.

That´s right. But i just hate survivors that cry about killer perks like idk Huntress lullaby or sloppy butcher, but then use those disgusting crutch perks(adrenaline yes i think so, mettle of man, and so on)

That's also unfortunately a side-effect of how certain perks are portrayed, which makes other perks suffer because of it. Even though this isn't EXACTLY the case, it does show when Ruin is SO disliked that others compare less used perks like Lullaby to it. Of course these perks are just disliked for their own reasoning, but I have seen arguments where other perks are the reason behind the hate for "similar" perks to it.
At the end of the day though, some players just hate certain perks because others hate those perks. Sometimes it's for their own reasons, sometimes it's for no reason at all...

The way I see it playing on Xbox as a red rank killer you either play nice and lose or you play by your set of rules and enjoy the salt. Solo q as survivor purple rank I want the killers best ( disclaimer don't run DS so I die a lot ).

@kingoftheirish1992 That is just how it goes. Most survivors want you to give them the gens for free. They would like it more if would carry them to the gens.

Next patch killer can start gens mid chase. Lol.
