Favorite perks you can't live without

For both killers and Survivors, what are the top four perks you can't live without, starting from 1 being the best and so on. Feel free to tell why they are your favorite.

Killer:

  1. Shadowborn = (Feeling) of moving faster than without the perk
  2. Enduring = Because f*k pallet stuns...
  3. Bamboozle = Because f*k broken infinite window loops in some maps with some killers.
  4. Barbeque and Chili = Extra Bloodpoints, and of course, map awareness.
  5. And as a bonus, Unrelenting = Just because it feels so good to catch a survivor off guard when they think they can get away with dead hard looping an extra round around a pallet or window, not realizing you are right behind them sooner than they expected.

For me my choices are through getting used to using them, so i feel weak without them.

4: PGTW, ive been using it since clown existed, i just love the pro-activeness of it, kicking a gen and visibly seeing it lose progress. No better feeling than kicking a gen with a pop, seeing it tapped so you can kick it again with another pop right after, 40s of gen work gone in an instant

3: kindred, used to run it before the buff purely to shame other people into rescuing me, and now with the buff its just too useful to take off. Its knowledge exactly at the time you want to be able to see your entire team, and the killer too, only time i ever take it off is when im playong with my buds

2: STBFL, i crutch hard on this perk, unless the killer im playing dont use M1s, or is nurse, i wont bring it, otherwise its always part 1 of every build i make. Being able to slap a guy before an unhook, slap em again right away, and slap the unhooked guy again for a 3rd slapparoo is a powerful feeling. Plus gives me a plausible excuse to ignore DS, as ive had plenty of matches where my STBFL isnthe only reason for an obsession

1: spinechill, not because i like the perk, but purely because i have never played a single match of survivor without it. Waaay early on when i first leveled mu first survivor, i did 10 bloodwebs before playing surv, and i had gotten spinechill, thought that perk sounds busted, and now have never once taken it off. Its hard to find something to justify trying a match without it. Its the first part of every build, and usually the reason i can't fit unbreakable or an exhaustion perk, but the use i get from it is insane, its almost like cheating

Killer has to be pop and sloppy for me.

Survivor is dead hard and detectives hunch.

BBQ, enduring. BBQ because I just couldn't see myself ever not running it, and enduring because respecting pallets is for nerds.

For survivor, kindred and borrowed time.

    Killer:

Rancor: With gens getting done really quickly, this perk makes people realize that they might not want to gen rush so quickly... if they know about the perk. And since I pair it with furtive and nemesis, I can hunt the survivors without issue and they'll be pressured into not knowing its in the game.

STBFL: A certain playstyle is encouraged and makes chases shorter.

Nemesis: My favorite perk to combo with Rancor, because you can mori multiple people if you have it.

BBQ: An incentive to not linger too much as well as double BPs.

    Survivor:

WGLF: More points and encourages teamwork.

Head On: The only Exhaustion perk I respect, requires skill and timing to use properly. It gets annoying if you pair it with a coordinated team or DS, but I use it without those perfectly fine.

Aftercare: Encourages teamwork (healing/saving) and gives you a benefit for not getting caught. It also gives teammates a benefit by highlighting what you are doing to everyone else. It is underrated because people like to get chased. I don't.

Stake Out: Encourages not getting caught, similar to Aftercare.

As killer, Iron Grasp. Whenever I play without it, I find myself really struggling to get to hooks. i just like the little bit extra security.

As survivor, Iron Will. (There's an Iron theme here.) It really helps if I'm trying to be sneaky for a moment, and just as a QOL thing, I don't like hearing the pain grunts lmao.

The only perk I ALWAYS run on all my killers is BBQ for those sweet double bloodpoints.

Iron Will is my go-to. I’ve become accustomed to being silent while injured. The injured groans annoy me especially if the survivor is a loud moaner like Jane or Feng.

Rancor: I am addicted to this perk. I use it on every killer😂

As killer, probably Nurse's and BBQ. I like Pop and Thrilling Tremors, but I wish the cool down for Thrilling wasn't so long.

As survivor, I like BT, DH, and Spine Chill.

Enduring as Killer and Inner Strength as Survivor

    Survivor:

Tenacity: I'm not the type to give up. That killer better be ready to work to find me again if they look away for a second and it saves my ass regularly, sometimes multiple times a match. Dying ain't nothing, someone will pick me up from somewhere. I've even disappeared from killers shortly after being downed because one swing at another nearby survivor was enough to pull my vanishing act. It's not a popular perk so it has the advantage of surprise to be sure

Stakeout: I'm a hider and a Houdini so I feel it's really important to have a tool that can make use of it and being able to get that time back on gens and heals after the killer leaves.

    Killer:

Sloppy: Nothing annoys me more than swarms of vermin constantly pouring back in onto a generator I just chased them off of. Being able to make every spanking worth more feels good when I hit 2-4 survivors in quick succession. If they want to commit, I'll commit to making them pay for it.

Surveillance: Knowledge is power, and as previously stated I hate people touching things I want them not touching so being able to at a glance know if they are on it or if they've litterally never gone back over the whole match makes all the difference for making sure I'm not waisting my time.
