Done with dbd for a bit
For the past 2 days I've had some of the most unfair matches I've ever played as killer. Between the "immersed survivors" hiding and holding the game hostage for 30 minutes and the 4 man swf with flashlights tbagging this game is in an incredibly toxic state on ps4. The worst part is. Because of the terrible matchmaking on ps4 these are fought at almost every rank. I'm sorry for any killers on ps4 that are going to have to deal with the toxic players that I otherwise would otherwise have to deal with. Until the next patch I'm taking a break from this game. I do appreciate the devs for trying to restore this game to the glory it originally was. I love this game and have loved it for the past 2 years but now its just too much.

I sure will. My headset did the fusion dance with my carpet atleast 3 times today alone.

This game and I also have a very love hate relationship. A good break is nice. And when you come back after a patch, there's at least new stuff to look forward to. :)

unfair? What about the people that do what they’re supposed to do on these maps that have zero hiding and just get Mori’d? Where are these survivors that hold the game hostage? Imo it’s probably a protest to make you quit. Killers are safe to use their ebony Mori’s now that people can’t quit without a dc penalty. It’s hard to have fun as survivor when you get your game cut short by something that shouldn’t be there in the first place so why not hide. Why not make the killer suffer?

I did the same. Moved to RE Resistance for a bit. It has a lot of the same issues as DBD and a lot of stuff in the game is OP and really poorly balanced just like DBD but theres way less toxicity. Some try to do it but silly dance emotes dont really have the same effect as 4 man swf tbagging at every pallet and running OoO. Likewise the masterminds can play dirty but its not the same as a wraith or ghostface just sat around the hook hitting you down the moment you’re unhooked. Also no endgame chat and no link to players profiles so no wall of salt on your steam profile.
Its much less stressful. DBD was the only game where losing felt really bad because unlike most games you didnt just lose in DBD, you had a whole load of humiliation thrown in and then got told to die of cancer post game.

I've been paying resistance recently and I love it. No matter what side you lose on you can still get something like an A rank which is pretty good.
