Why is there no cross platform!
so, I’m new to this game, and I just found out there is no cross platform! I wanted to play with my friend who is on Xbox and I’m on ps4! Please DBD, add cross platform.

This is something I have wondered for awhile. Most games cross platform sucks. Because using a mouse and keyboard is usually stronger then a controller. But in DBD a controller is more then fine to play with. So I feel like it's the perfect cross platform game.

They are probably working on it as apparently due to bug pc players connected to ps4 lobbies(and made wonderful 5v0 games that instantly ended)
I'd love to see that really. More players = better queues.

Console survivors might have a hard time against PC plagues, but that’s the only issue I can think about.

I don’t know why people say this all the time lol (usually it involves Nurse, not Plague). Survivors on console are just as good, if not better, than PC survivors. Console Nurse, on the other hand, is trash compared to PC... even though there are like 2 or 3 on XBOX that are decent.

The game needs to give you the option of who to play with.
E.g. If im on PS4, then I'd be happy to have Switch and Xbox players in my lobbies. But I would like the ability to turn PC on and off

Imagine going against a pc player with mouse and keyboard/ stretched vertical screen/ 60fps as a player on PS4/Xbox/switch using a controller and like 10fps. This sounds like a wonderful idea. These devs can’t even make the basic game work properly. I would stop playing immediately if there is no option to decline crossplay with pc

It's more than 10fps!
But, anyway, that why I think that consoles should be cross platform, but not PC. No other way to make it fair really

As long there is options to turn it off, for people who don't want to play with others. In a survey, a while ago, they asked about cross progression and cross play so it might happen. They might announce it at the year 4 anniversary stream.
