New players get hit with Saddening Queue times
Just got DBD for pc with some DLC I played survivor first the queue was fine then I tried to play some killer I feel like im stuck in infinite Queue is DBD dead on PC or something been sitting here for 10+ minutes I heard this games is getting crossplay between consoles is that true because im pretty sure it needs it because these queues are making me sad are there any tips to get shorter queue times are am I screwed?

It's tough to get games especially as killer as a newbie. Once you hit 15-16 usually things smooth out but getting those first few is definitely a problem. Not much that can be done about it though, it's normal in games that have been out a long time for newbies to have longer ques.

The problem is even worse. The algorithm will expand your rank criteria if no match is found, and you will end up being matched against survivors way more experienced than you, and you will be stomped. you need a high tolerance for frustration to start as killer.
Also, be aware of this: In low ranks, killers beat low rank survivors. In red ranks, survivors beat killers more often than not.
If you are paired against red or purple ranks as a low rank killer... well, you know what to expect.

Idk about you, my Killer queues are very quick, i start a match in at least 2 minutes, this includes the max. 1 minute wait in the lobby.
Anyway, here's how dead the game is on Steam...

Killer queues on XBOX are about 10 seconds for me, no joke.
Survivor on the other hand...

It depends on when you play and your rank.
Survivor qeues are at their fastest in off-peak hours (2:00 AM - 2:59: PM) and in low to mid ranks.
Killer queues are at their fastest in peak hours (3:00 PM - 1:59: AM) and in mid to high ranks.
This is because at peak hours is when most 3-4 person SWF groups play and that inflates the survivor popualtion by a lot, especially at high ranks, where their is a shortage of killers. Which causes killers to be matched up with any and all ranks while solo and 2 person SWF group survivors must wait for ages.

Also forgot to mention im a rank one in both survivor and killer on xbox well was lol im just not used to the long queue because it's pretty much instant on xbox that's why I hope they will add crossplay I cant think of any disadvantage in doing so but yea now im tryna get to green ranks hopeing my queue time will be close to what i'm used to after.
