Changing Achievement 'Left For Dead'

Left For Dead
As the last person still alive, activate the last generator and escape through the exit gate.
Is there any hope that this achievement can be changed in the future? This achievement is next to impossible to get because it requires either the alignment of planets to acquire this or cheating by coordinating with the Killer. I'm one of those people who transferred over from PS4 since that's where I initially played DBD. At the time, we never had Bill as a character due to a rights issue. By the time I came over to PC, DBD came out with the milestone patch that made hatches able to be shut by Killers.
Now that the hatch can be closed, any Gens on the map are blocked by the entity and I'm forced to get the exit gate open. Even if I somehow magically got this Gen done before Killer found hatch and closed it, I have to open an 1 of 2 exit gates that are sitting virtually right next to each other and can be seen easily (unless you're playing on The Game or Lery's. I've only ever came close one time and that was when this latest DLC came out. I died because the gates were right next to each other and the Killer could just stand in the middle and look either direction to see.
At least getting Adept Killer requires massive skill, but this is based on a multitude of variables that I have no control of.

i play on both pc and ps4 ,i got the Achievement on pc before the killer could close the hatch but i tried on ps4 welp it is almost impossible it should be changed but it most likely wont be.
if anyone got this tell us how you did it.

I think the issue is that the achievement is still technically possible so Sony doesn't allow them to change the achievement. I am not sure where I read this though? It is stupid and does pretty much require asking the killer to let you do it. Which can only happen if they message you first now.

It’s a very dumb requirement for the trophy/achievement. It’s outdated. You basically have to let your teammate die with one gen at 99%, hide in a locker, and pop the gen and hope that the gates are far apart (or an indoor map) or that the killer doesn’t care if you escape.
It should be changed to “Open one of the exit gates and escape after the killer has closed the hatch.”
Since it’s still technically possible I don’t think Sony will allow them to change it. It was different with “Deranged Pursuit” because the with the Legion rework the trophy requirement was no longer possible.

Hilariously, I was able to get Deranged Pursuit before they changed the achievement.

I got the achievement not too long ago, but as mentioned above it is completely outdated. The only reason I got it was because I happened to be the last survivor left, they messaged me saying they were gonna let me live, explained my situation and they LET me get it.
I had no doubt that I was gonna have to farm that achievement, which is bad. Even the longer ones like Huntress' hatchets and taking protection hits for recently unhooked survivors just accumulates by playing. Left For Dead is virtually impossible now that endgame has been added.

To add to what I said, "achievements" should be achievements. Not much of an achievement when you have to work with someone on the opposite team to get it. I don't know how you would update it at this stage of the game, but it certainly should be.

I got it yesterday, I'm a somewhat close game where I was the last survivor I had my swf friend ask the killer if I could get it and they said yes. The end lol

It is possible to get this achievement, I've got it in December 2019 on PC. Don't remember how I've got it. Just a pure luck + yellow ranks

I’ve been playing dead by daylight for almost a year now and still haven’t achieved this achievement cause almost every time I try to do it I can’t cause the gens are either to close or the killer found the hatch or is doing a hatch standoff so it’s basically impossible for me to get it done, rework or not I still probably won’t get it😂

I got it on PS4, and only because the killer inexplicably went afk. So I just did the last gen and went out the exit gate.

Well, most likely you are able to get it when you are down to one gen and the killer is camping the hatch until you show up. I would most likely try to do the last gen when going against a Wraith then, as they like to body block the hatch while invisible and then kick it when you run into them.
