Loosing rank cuz a m*f with a coal based internet dc before the match began

This is wrong, really. The game is infinite harder for a survivor if one of the player rage quit/dc.

About the rage quit, there is nothing to be done, really a shame.
But counting rank points when someone has the unfortunated situation of dc in the loading screen cuz either he or the killer, have an internet made if sh*t, is terrible.

When a survivor dc before the match, one less gen does not do the trick. Stop rank digression in this situation. It is unfair.

    Rank really isn't important tbh.

I'm probably the only one who thinks that this is exactly how the game should be played. 3 survivors and 4 or 5 gens.
When that happens, the power role shifts from survivor to killer.
Killer feels powerful and survivor feels scary. Just as it should be. You know, horror game.

After 50 hours nobody is scared and no amount of changes will make that happen, a new killer comes in, the spoopiness is there for an hour or two and then you're golden again.

Also 3 survs is too easy, one hooked, one saving, one on a gen, you know exactly where and what everyone is doing, which in my opinion would make it very boring for a killer.

    but again, thats MY OPINION.

It would feel scary. At least thats the way I feel, when i´m one of the survivors. Can´t run around like a crazy man, clicking with my flashlight to get the killers attention.

It`s not about rank per se, but the fact that higher ranks have better players who does know how to counter the killer.

Instead of headless chickens running around when there is a Hag, or stacking when it`s meyers.

It`s just the opportunity to play with better people

Not necesarily. I still encounter headless chickens on high ranks.
Ranking up is simply to easy.

Oh.. yeah that wasn´t regarding my playstyle.
But i had some really tense matches, where 1 survivor disconnected right at the start with 5 gens up. I really enjoyed those matches, because everyone played safer.

One of the best matches was, where one dc during the loading screen, another one right at the start, and the third one died suicided on the hook. I was left alone with 4 gens but had Left Behind equipped. I managed to 99% 3 gens and the killer caught me, when i popped the 4th gen. I loved that match!
