Taking the game hostage

When a killer camps both exit gates when there are 2 survivors left, I get myself into so many situations like this and was wondering can the killer get reported for that, same with when the killer camps 3 gens when they are very close to each other and no one can do anything but sacrifice themselves to the killer cause they don’t wanna stay in a match for no longer than 10 minutes.

When a killer starts punishing my group in a way where we are forced to 3gen ourselves we make the killer regret it. Just tonight we had a Huntress do that thinking she was going to get an easy game. NOPE. After she tunneled Bill out of the game initially we started playing for the long haul. 35+ minute game and the she admits the ONLY reason she got us is because she was lagging and her hitting lag hatchets allowed her to get a 3K instead of a 1K.

Just ran into something like this as well. We faced a killer that picked the last guy up and wouldn't kill him. Just kept him on his shoulders the whole time. If he wiggled out or dribbled him he'd just hit him again and then pick him up and carry him more. And then at the end game screen it was 'Entitled Survivors!' Guess he was pretty salty.

When it gets to that point, it’s really just the game. Your choices are camp to win/get bp, or let the survivors go.

Yes, I understand there is etiquette, and I try my best to abide by this. But if it’s a close game, I’m getting my kills.

NB: If I get my butt whipped in a game, and they let me get a few whacks in, I happily let them leave. They won, and they are doing me a favour.

You'll need to play killer more to understand why they camp exit gates or 3 gens. It concerns me the word 'camping' where a killer might use the word 'patrolling'.

'reported' used that the killer should pay and it is wrong of them.

A killers subtask is to stop survivors competing their objectives, the main is preventing them escape.

The gates can spawn close to each other unless you are in the game or Hawkins maps, this usually is frustrating as is 3 gens close to each other.

The problem is as survivors you have let yourselves down being most powerful at the beginning and gradually can only become weaker.

You must ensure not to 3 gen yourselves and escape through the hatch if you haven't kept your numbers up to stretch the killer at the gates. If you haven't done this you are weaker and the killer has nearly won the match.

This is why SWFs are so powerful with comms as the killer can't be everywhere chasing 4 people at once.

My concern for you is falling into playing only one side of the game when at least 1 in 5 games you should be improving by playing killer.

You know if he is at one exit gate the other survivor CAN open the other one. Vice-versa. As the 3 gen strat, that the survivors fault. I always try do the middle first and work my way out.

I do play killer, I play every so often but I never camp gates or gens. I know it’s a strategy but I don’t want the game to last longer than the usual for me.

What strategy do you employ when the hatch is closed when playing killer of you don't keep checking on each gate?

So what you want to happen is...

    • 2 survivors left
    • Killer: "Hmmm, well I better be fair! Let me just not guard these gates, that would be mean."

    correct?

Otherwise, what should the killer do?

Is this equal to complaining Killer camp hoom when 5 Gen are done?

Its the game fault that not giving enough things to do in each stage of the game. Such as Gen for Survivor in early game, or hook cam for Killer in late game.

Camping the gates? That's why there are two in the first place. Even if the killer is a Billy with the gates close to each other, he can't be in two places at once. Y'all better flip a coin to see who has to be the bait.

If there is 1 survivor left, you COULD do it, but its hard, bit of mindgames are needed.

if there is 2 left you have no excuse, 1 does 1 door and the other does the other.

Apart from that your logic is just flawed, the killer might as well report you for not attempting to escape lol

It is hard but it depends on gate spawns, usually I’d try to open up the other half way then fully open up the other gate, but it’s hard when they are close to each other and the killer camps.

I mean I do, do the middle ones first but it’s hard when you have a swf group or all solos cause then they don’t listen to me when I use the come here emote to show them the gens to do.

I know. It's so silly. Like people getting mad over tbagging.

If y'all 3-genned yourselves, how is it the killer's fault for patting the only gens you left on the map? ######### else is he gonna do? 😂#yourfault

Door RNG, on the other hand, sucks, but no - also not the fault of the killer that he has no where else to be. On the plus side, door progress doesn't regress...so just tap tap tap

well yeah it is suppose to be, you are in a bad spot at that point, which is the killers doing by killing half the team or 3/4th of the team up to that point.
