Huntress singing sound
I've noticed that playing againts Huntress she keeps singing the same "nanananan", well i'am using Razer 7.1 sound headset and the sound seems to come from everywhere and not from a specific location.. is there a way to improve the sound in a way we can better notice where's she approaching from? the same happens with Freddy when you're on the dream, we got no clue where he is..

Her lullaby is non-directional intentionally, there’s no (legal) way to change it. :)

The sound is actually her humming the Russian folk lullaby "Bayu Bayuski Bayu"
And no, it is not directionalised any more. Same with Freddy's lullaby. They used to be though, but in a way it was a bit too much warning.

I thought her Lullaby was directly linked to her Lullaby perk.
But she still sings when she is not using that perk.
The song has a greater distance than her heartbeats, which is strange to me.

It used to be directional, but they changed it because it gave too much warning that a hatchet was about to be buried five feet from your back and still hit you.
The song is, as PigMainClaudette above me said, a Russian fol lullaby called "Bayu Bayushki Bayu," essentially telling little kids to not sleep at the edge of their bed or else a wolf will come in and drag them off to the forest. Because nothing gets kids to sleep easier than the thought of being dragged away by a wild animal and presumably eaten.

It non directional and her humming tend to switch up to the point she laugh as well. Only work if she haven't found anyone for a long period of time.

Think of her humming as a secondary Terror Radius, since she is the only lethal ranged killer, yes I know Deathslinger exists for any bright-sparks but you cannot down directly with his power don't @ me, so they've given her the lullaby secondary to act as her true terror radius, with her actual 20m to act as both a secondary warning and used for perks such as Unnerving Presence.

Fun fact many new players (and some old) don't know about Huntresses singing is that the longer you go without hitting a survivor/getting into a chase she actually starts to sing more disgruntled and annoyed.

I believe they removed the direction of her lullaby very recently to make it harder for Survivor's to track her, especially those who are in SWF voice chats.

She doesn't get annoyed, she actually gets happier as she remembers it's the lullaby her mother sang to her before she died. She gets happier singing it until it loops and she goes back to singing in a sad way.

It's not just disgruntled and annoyed ant one point towards the end of the track it sounds like she's singing through laughter. The track is actually pretty long and if i remember correctly there were 5 different mood changes within it. The reason you only ever hear the first 1,2 or maybe 3 is because every time she gets a hit the lullaby resets and the track starts from the beginning. I don't know if you noticed, but due to a bug (or maybe not a bug - i hope it wasn't a bug) the lullaby didn't reset in the most recent PTB so you could actually listen to quite a big portion of the track which was awesome.

Definitely fits into her theme as she get so invested and overtaken in her hunts.
It would make a lot of sense that if she doesn't encounter a survivor or something to distract her from the humming she begins to just enjoy it remembering her mum more hence going from humming to singing.

Yeah, and notice how she stops humming for a bit when she winds up a hatchet or finds a survivor.

Yeah I remember the first time I actually realized her hum changed (back during her release) and I had to stop playing for a second to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Its a really neat little detail that I always thought was a great addition to her character.

In the ptb she sang it without starting again after a chase. It was so creepy when she comes and you heared that giggling first. I hope the change make it live.
