Flashlight question
When getting the killer blind score event while the killer is carrying a survivor, shouldn't the killer drop the survivor? Or does that only happen during the small pickup window?

You have to time it so the blind happens right as they regain movement. Why? No idea.

If you blind them during the pickup animation it won't drop the survivor, they need to be blinded while they have control of their character. You can time it so the blind kicks in right as this happens to get what is essentially a save the moment they CAN move.
Because flashlight saves would be way to easy if you could blind at any point in time, especially when the killer has 0 control over their charter. Hell if it allowed you to flashlight save at any time then the meta would be to simply stand in the open if you knew you were going to go down because you would be flashlight saved 100% if someone was nearby or forced to be slugged if the killer knew.
Pallets work the same way.

But why did i get blind score when killer was moving and he didnt drop survivor?

Because you blinded him like 0,5 second earlier than the animation finished thats why. You blinded him but failed the timing, also count in the pop up for the score isnt right away.

I remember the dark days when once behaviour thought that timing the flashlight/pallet saves were a bug and just removed the timing overall. You could just blind or pallet stun the killer whenever in the animation and made the killer drop the survivour right after the animation finished. One of the darkest days I've seen. Thank god it was reverted.

Survivor was already on shoulder. Killer was moving towards a hook. I get killer could dodge the blind but i got the scoring event.

Latency in either the actual blind or simply in the score poping up.

I don't know why flashlight saves have to be hard though. I hit them regardless so it isn't really relevant towards me, but it really should just be a thing about positioning.
How would dying in the open become any different from how it is now?

If they are able to move around then they should drop the survivor.
