Please read things u didn't know about upcoming patch.

Before anything know that I and we love you so much devs on forums and every where and appreciate you, I really do.

The upcoming patch is not a nerf to survivors for 7 reasons:

1: Some youtubers did some math and noticed that going to the open door and then reach the other side of the window takes 35-45% longer than just jumping through the window, so it's better to just jump through windows like old times.

2: You opened 2 windows on each of these buildings which will make infinites worst than before cause some of them and most of them has really decent window options.

3: Bambozle got destroyed now because there are 2 windows opened and not just one and we can't block 2 windows. ( right after ruin nerf ).

4: You repositioned a lot of the windows to be closer to the survivors after they jump through the window so now they reach em faster for better loop.

5: When the survivors jumped through the window and tried to go for another jump there was some things blocking them outside like a car that they had to go around in macmillan map and now they are gone, so they can loop even faster.

6: You added a pallet out side in most of these buildings to make it even harder for the killer and most of them are decent pallets.

7: There are some opened doors that made survivors stronger and not weaker like the one from cold wind ( torment creek ) where now it's like a shack as you go through the door and to the window 3 times in a row and the killer can't do any thing because you added these things near the window that made it take much longer to catch survivors so basically 2 shacks in one map { and even stronger! than a shack !! } cause u don't need a pallet to jump 3 times over that window.

in return what we got as killers is a few points that don't make up to all the points I mentioned earlier.

1: There are 2 sides that the killer can go to survivors from when they are near infinites, one of them is good to counter them and the other is bad, let me explain, there is a side where killers counter these windows because the opened door would be next to them before the window while the other side is bad because it will be the window next to them then they have to reach the open door and then move to reach the other side of the window, and so these doors help with just one side so 50% of the time but it's actually less because at least 50% of the maps it didn't matter which side the killer came from because the door is just that useless for killers, Which really means that it helps only 25% of the time, on the other hand survivors have 2 opened windows that they can benefit from 100% of the time so it's very unfair.

2: Very few maps ( very few ) got smaller which helps but again when they are very few then its a very tiny buff.

3: Jungle gyms are weaker now, even tho some pallets are still really strong near them and some people said that they are not weaker than bhefore, I think that they are weaker but not by much ( kinda in the middle ).

4: the slow to gens which i would say equals to about 2.5% slower gens but it's a very little amount.

Over all the stuff that helped survivors in my openion are way better than the points that helped killers so please devs reconsider, figure this out and please fix it, and again I love you with all my heart and peace <3.

Yeah every "killer sided" update is just crumbs and a survivor buff.

Yay one map is slightly smaller and infinites are gone

But every single other loop in the game just got a lot easier to preform for common players.

Yay hooks aren't broke as long

But now they can Sabo so fast in front of you can't even clean your blade in time. So noone has to 99 hook setup anymore its easily for everyone to drop hooks in your face...

infinites are gone ? are you kidding me ? i just proved that infinites are stronger than before, have u listened to any word i've said ? wow am amazed by you. plus sabo now is stronger so u dont have to waste time 99 all hooks doing 0 gens. its waaay stronger now.

Anyone who thinks that the Map Changes are actually good for Survivors is simply wrong.

"2: You opened 2 windows on each of these buildings which will make infinites worst than before cause some of them and most of them has really decent window options."

I hope you dont mean Mothers Dwelling with this.

Because you cant convince people to get into chases when they dont want to. What you can do is make it so a single chase doesnt take 5 mins with decent tiles, promoting NEW chases frequently.

Survivors are gonna start doing gens quickly, bringing their best perks and addons, and playing as SWF?

Like when killers said they were going to tunnel and use moris to protest the ruin nerf, I don't see how I'm supposed to appreciate the difference.

You act like you are not liable to get facecamped by bubba the first time you go down in this game.

Killers can just slap on Freddy and win every chase as it is. But let's nerf all the tiles to promote new, healthy freddy and spirit chases lmao

Yes but you have to remember that a lot of people aren't capable of running 5 minute long chases, even on a map like Blood-Lodge. I am nowhere near inclined to the idea that BHVR should balance specifically for weaker players as that means good players can just abuse those systems and burn down the game

But they NEED to strike a healthy balance for both skill level populations. The longer the game goes on the more favorable it is for the killer, this is exactly why survivors rush generators as quickly as possible. With the nerfing of sustain and chase perks the chances of survivors pulling off a win goes down dramatically if the game exceeds a 5 minute mark when before it was still anyone's game, you are right in it being difficult to convince people to get into chases. But when the perks were strong it wasn't that difficult when survivors were confident, generators weren't rushed as fast

Here-in lies the problem with BHVR and the wider killer community mindset at the moment. They keep targeting symptoms, not the actual issue that lies in the core gameplay loop. By only targeting the symptoms you worsen the actual issue for everyone, instead of nerfing perks, nerfing tiles, and nerfing items, BHVR needs to fix the core issue. These things have only ever been an issue because of the core-gameplay flaw
