Can you just basically take game hostage if you do the next?
I dont know since i dont play hag but i know that with certain addon you can just put traps at both gates early game and then just keep teleporting and setting traps over and over again not giving survivors any chance to open gates?
I can see why it may not work great for hag but what about demo?

Demo most certainly can not guard both gates at once. His power is on a cooldown timer, his portals can be destroyed and he has a limited number of them which he stort of needs to move freely since he's so loud.

It works pretty well for Demo, but Hag's traps don't trigger if a survivor crouches on them. And Gate progress is saved, so ONE of the gates will eventually open

Hag can teleport to traps without survivors triggering them. You need only one addon.

If you're referring to mint rag it has a cooldown once you teleport to said trap.

You can but not nearly enough to spam. The shortened cooldowns do not stack.

What? Yes he can put 2 of your 6 portals down by the gates and just hold the power button until KI says the survivor is near the switch. Then you teleport to it
It completely locks down the gates especially in a 1v1

It has a cooldown, as soon as fob teleport to one they can start the other.

Not to the extent of what he's talking about. It takes a far bit of time to get the power back so once the survivors know what you're doing it wont work very well. Plus the sound is global so they know when the portals are in use and that it's safe to pull one of the doors.

But wouldn't you be in a chase with them if you teleported to one in the first place? They wouldn't be able to open the gate because you'd be on em.
Unless you're talking about multiple people coordinating and not the typical close hatch then defend gates

This wouldn't really work. If you used the bodyblocking Hag addons, you lose the ability to teleport. And if you use the add-on for teleporting to any trap it has a few drawbacks.
1) You'll need to wait 16 ish seconds to teleport again
2) They can still crouch over it, and it still won't activate. (Even if you use the add-on for invisible dummy)
So you can't really take the game hostage as Hag.

When you opening the gates you standing. Trap works if hag put traps good.

Standing for gate doesn't count as walking. It counts as an animation so it still won't work.

I m pretty sure it works. I triggered traps many time when i was trying to cleanse ruin. Hag mains know how to place traps well.
Im pretty sure i triggered traps when opening gates as well.

If you let go of crouch before doing the totem it'll trigger. But if you crouch all the way to the totem and crouch as you cleanse it won't trigger.
