Video Memory Crash

Member Posts: 957

So my game keeps crashing due to lack of video memory.

Its crashed so often that I'm now banned for 24 hours.

I take it behaviour isn't interested in retaining customers if they are intent on punishing people for having less than optimal rigs so yay for that.

Well if the game is crashing due to what you have you can’t really blame BHVR. Do you think it’s fair that everyone else in the match Is penalized due to your personal issue?

As above it’s time to look at an upgrade if your gpu isn’t good enough to handle playing the game anymore.

I'm pretty sure you can get more optimal rigs for cheap, my friend. Look up an AMD Ryzen 7. They're around 329USD and they made DBD go from choppy 30 fps to consistent 60 fps (even with other programs like FL Studio being on in the background). Of course they are probably more expensive now thanks to Covid.. Since everyone's working from home.

But if you want something cheaper than a Ryzen 7, there's a Ryzen 5 that is going on for around 169USD.

As for GPU, the base requirement is a GeForce GTX 460 which costs like 199USD right now.

Phew that was close. I had another video memory crash but thankfully I was on Survivor so i had enough time to jump in and out of a locker to alert the killer to my presence so he could hook me for suicide escape before the game crashed out and I was up for another 24 hour ban lmao.

    I need a new rig.
