How do you feel about Ds?
Personally, I don't care. If I see a cocky survivor jumping in a locker after unhooked I'll simply grab em and eat the DS. Either way it's my win since I don't have to worry about it late game. Some people say it's a toxic op perk, I disagree since it has so much counterplay.
What about you? Let me know down below.
(OoO question in the future 😉)

I just eat it if there is no other survivor immediately nearby. You'll be surprised how less DS has been used in high ranks, because I tend to find teams that just flat out didn't bring any Obsession perks.

I'll eat it if I want to change my obsession. Usually survivors don't act too cocky when I've actually hooked them. It's when I haven't that they act cocky.

i dont use it anymore. i got away with DS a lot even tho i didnt get tunneled. i think its kinda annoying and unfair for the killer when he finds you randomly and didnt even thought about tunneling you but still get punished for it.
when a killer is a hardcore tunnler he deserves to get ds'ed not 1 time, 2,3,4 times! people who wanna make the game experience of other people bad should also feel the same. but when i play against a killer who is actually very kind and cares about the fun of other people i feel bad.
i said it long time ago, change DS to a FULL anti tunnel perk and make it usable 2 times for the hard tunnlers and let it deactivate as soon someone gets hooked. but i got a lot of hate for that. obviously then the hard tunnlers cant destroy the fun of other people right?
its not like you can just get tunneled 1time per match.

Honestly if DS was changed to that I would 100% replace Windows of Opportunity for it in my current build setup right now. Because I get tunneled A LOT. (I purposefully bring Object)

Overpowered, but needed. Tunneling people off would be way too easy without it. The strongest killers already can basically ignore it. Nurse / Spirit just down you again in 10 seconds, Freddy drops you into a snare.

I like current DS better than old DS. Even if it's not always used as anti "tunneling"
The only thing i would change is, make it disable if you touch a gen. If you're doing a gen it means the killer didn't..... Ugh... "TuNeL" (god i feel so cringy even saying this made up term")
And if you touched a gen instead of healing, or finding someone to heal you than it was your choice, there's no reason to have a 60 seconds immunity.

I will tunnel the survivor out of the game, if I feel the DS was undeserved.
Example: I chased and hooked another survivor during the time you got unhooked and started to repair a gen and I found you again.
I don't use it as a survivor, because it's pretty rare that I get tunneled of the hook. Why should I waste a perk slot for it, if I can't use it? And even then, I wouldn't use it. There are more useful perks for me.

It’s fair in moderation and can be played around but can create some unfun situations against a team of four running DS+Unbreakable.
Damned if you do damned if you don’t in certain situations.

I should have started running it sooner tbh. Oh well killer had their chance. I didn't start taking it until level 206 because the tunneling was REALLY getting out of hand.

DS becomes a problem, if survivors use it in the endgame or for saves/as chase wasters. It needs more restrictions to be balanced.

It's a necessary evil of the game. As long as hardcore tunnelling is allowed, then survivors are going to need some sort of immunity to it. I know that a lot of survivors also use it as a "60 Seconds of Immunity" perk as a lot of killers tend to point out, but that's also generally easier to spot and you could just make them eat dirt until the timer wears off.

Ussually when i down a survivor when its considered "tunneling" i leave them slugged and go for the other person. BUT when i see the survivor Being in damaged state trying to gen rush me using ds, then fack that guy i am going to take the DS and camp the sh*t out of him.
There are a few things that make me salty and that is one of Them.😤

I prefer to see more perks to be more useful for dealing with the tunnel than DS.

Rarely get hit by it as slugging is a regular strategy of mine but some of the ways survivors have found to abuse it can be obnoxious but it's no biggy. Love it when they hop in a locker while the game is going in my favor, just staring at the locker only to down them and leave them anyways makes me chuckle lol

I think it's a bit too strong given how often I get slugged instead of hooked just on the possibility of ds. It warps matches even when it's not present and that imo is a bit too far.

My only real issue is EGC, where it can give an easy escape.

It's pretty ridiculous. Sometimes you don't see anyone else, and many times the person with DS chooses not to heal and tries to do a gen in your face for free.
