great patch but hopefully spirit will be fixed in the next chapter?
simply fix the phasing sound being heard while in terror radius, it's game breaking and remove mind games.

Game breaking. Good one.

it is, you stay at a window or pallet and you don't move, they know you aren't using your powe,r you use it, they hear it, ok i am out, bye

Sorry guessing simulator 2020 isn't panning out the way you want it to

Before I say this, I'm not sure if it happens all the time or only sometimes.
My Spirit games have actually still been fine, but a big thing that made me love spirit was that stand still fakeout, so kinda sucks, its been awhile too so feels like a shadow nerf; maybe they're even leaving it to see how it makes her perform, it's not a bad idea.
I have noticed it's harder to get them now, for a moment I just figured people are finally getting good against her. Guess its both?
Edit: The "shadow nerf" is somewhat a bad idea, as there is better ways to test stuff (and tell us) but I would understand IF that's what they're doing.

I've actually haven't been hindered much with the sound bug whenever I play Spirit, in fact it's still the same. Most people just suck playing against her, like always.
So even if they could hear her Terror Radius, they still panic and go in aimless directions.

I find it shocking how little people actually are addressing the fact that this is a bug. She isn't supposed to work like that. Whether you think she's strong or not, I agree that since it's part of her design to only make the phasing sound happen outside her terror radius, that it should be fixed. Otherwise, they need to announce that it's just going to be the way she works now, and they need to change her prayer beads to have an effect that isn't phasing-sound-based.

"mind games"

You're telling me you're /not/ having fun with the fun, interactive, totally fair 50/50 mindgame killer called Spirit?
9 -
you want to remove one of the best parts of spirit?
lol

Oh no, they got rid of the stand still and win tech, how sad. Not like she's already strong enough without it.
5 -
Tbh I prefer her this way. Always found the stand-still-to-win tactic very lame.
7 -
You know you can counter that by running away from her and out of LOS right? then hiding? Or using a flashlight to confirm whether or not she is phasing (You won't blind her if she is actually phasing)
If Spirit stops, it's generally a good idea to NEVER run into her.
EVER.
2 -
Mindgames? Which ones? The standing still ones and looking what survivor does to get free hits?
7 -
That doesn't change that I find it lame.
0 -
Yeah, and when you run away she can phase after you.
2 -
That's why I said to get out of LOS, because she then has to guess herself where you went. She does have a cooldown before she can activate her ability, and during that duration she won't be able to see Survivors.

I play Spirit as well (or played, currently not really into Spirit because of the Sound Bugs), so I know this. However, she has nothing to lose when doing the Stand still-"mindgame".
2 -
You do, some people like myself and @GrootDude don't. In fact we would love to face against killers like them more often.
2 -
Why so defensive? I just stated a simple opinion.

Yep, spirit is actually my favorite killer to play against and I love countering her tricks.
1 -
Well, I also main Spirit but I will say though my experiences with standing still tends to be hit or miss. Sometimes you get Survivors who just panics and doesn't know what they are doing. Other times they got far enough to another loop/pallet and I've wasted my power to catch up to them.
I have to make sure where they are going first, I don't immediately start to phase the moment I see they are moving away from me. I want to make sure they get a good distance so I can predict where they are heading next.

There is no way to counter a smart spirit without the phasing sound. She just wins if she is using the standing still thing. Losing LoS isn't possible cause she can just watch you going and phase after you. And add stridor to the mix and it's done.
Even if you have a flashlight, she can just phase for a few seconds and bam, she is already on your ass. Even after those nerfs, spirit is a easy and strong killer. But what really needs to get adressed is the buggy sound and weird scratch marks sometimes. I can understand that this sucks as killer.
She is just WITH the phasing sound balanced imo because she can't do those "mindgames" that was basically playing a solo game.
I understand that killers love spirit and I don't want any other nerf for her, but giving her the phasing sound is the only way to keep her balanced. Without it it will just be a solo game for her again.

Imagine there are people that think they "countered" spirit, when they won the coin flip.
3 -
I'm the best coin flipper in town, 50% of the time I get it right 100% of the time.

Spirit is the best killer in the game, so that bug needs to be fixed asap. This bug lowers her skill ceiling. Now imagine if they had a bug that lowered nurse's skill ceiling. Just because this bug happened to spirit only doesn't mean it shouldn't get fixed. It's a bug that changes how the killer works.

Dude i main spirit, she is very decent, she doesn't need buffs.
