Community - Rise Up!
The new patch is a sh*tshow, there is no denying that. Devs are largely ignoring us, as usual, so it is now on us as a community to do something about it.
First of all - stop spending money on this game. Vote with your wallet. You do not need to buy the new rift that comes out tomorrow. You do not need that trash recolored outfit from the store. Spend those 10 bucks on yourself or your family. Treat your dog/cat to a new toy.
Secondly, we all need to coordinate and stop playing for a set amount of time. Let them feel the drop in playerbase.
Thirdly, there are a few key figures in Behaviour Interactive that you can find with a quick search on google. I will not post names or whatever, because I don't want to get banned for that, so search it on your own. Send messages to the President of the company. Let him know just how bad things are for you, as a consumer. The more of us that do this - the better.
It is time to take action, otherwise they will continually give us crap, and force us to eat it.

my biggest issue is, that they force Anti-aliasing on us now. It's literally hurting my eyes... I can't play this game anymore.

Sorry, don't you know, we have to be irrationally angry at any given moment in time where there's a big release and claim that we're never gonna touch or spend another cent on this game and then play 20 matches the next day

We have been giving you suggestions not for months, for years now! What do we get? Forced graphic options, high ping lobbies and numerous game-breaking bugs upon a release of a patch. What is the team going to do with the notes? Are we magically going to get simple game settings overnight? Are the new (again, game breaking) bugs going to be fixed overnight? No. Literally nothing will happen, as usual.
Funny how you respond to this post, and not numerous others. The fear of losing players and money finally feels real when actions are put behind it, doesn't it?

Look at all these people defending BHVR right now. And not a single one of them knows what the patch changed. Not a single one of them bothered to look at any of the 100s of new threads that popped up on the forums. Isn't that quite something? BHVR sending out their army to defend them. :)

You're having a mental breakdown for no reason. A forum post isn't going to cause a mass walk out on a video game. Relax and chill. I haven't played the update yet. But I'm going to go ahead and assume it's not that bad!

Take a chill pill Entitled survivor. The god loops were breaking the game, and generally many maps were too big, playing both surviver and Killer I can honestly say I hated getting maps where both sides would be at a stand off once the game got tense, it's a much needed fix.
Also, news flash! Most of the killer base already left! Wake up!!
Since they took away ruine you lost at least 60% killer base and are stuck waiting 10mins+ a game survival vs instant games as killer, because no one wants to play as a killer when you get gen rushed and god looped, this is a much needed fix to restore balance to the game.

You clearly don't see #########. You don't see the drop at 18:00? Under 30k players. Every single day before that over 40k (close to 50k) players at the same hour. The 15k player drop doesn't mean ######### to you, huh?

I think the potential issue with this patch is that it fixed a problem that the game was largely balanced around - much like the ruin change. I would expect a decent exodus of suvivors, which is fair, I'm sure BHVR saw it coming just like with the ruin changes. The problem BHVR has with these important overhauls to broken aspects of the game like godloops, mapsize and ruin is that they don't offset the major changes with other, smaller changes to help offset the imbalance they create.
While you don't want to introduce them at the same time - so you can monitor their effects more closely - it may be a good idea to have another, smaller change in the wings in case the patch is a bit of a disaster. I guess we'll have to see how well they planned and/or calculated these changes.

he fall of playe is the same as every day at that time, and if you mean at patch time, normal, people stop playing in order to download the patch, you say "they don't listen to us" but you should know that the majority of complaints were from killers, because the game was unbalanced, they did something to help the killers and you complain, but when nerf ruin?...

So if anyone gives an educated opposing opinion to your rushed frantic post that has no real feed back or depth other then "I'm angry we all needa boycott because baaaaa!!" Then it means I'm a paid actor who benefits from debunking a post that literally anyone can point out has no real constructive impact whatsoever?
Please, educate me on why the update is so bad. I believe I gave a reasonable answer as to why i believe its needed.

You two, check the other threads. It is insane how everyone who posts here and defends the devs has no clue what we're complaining about. Again, for the last time - NOBODY IS COMPLAINING ABOUT MAP CHANGES. If you want to learn more, I suggest you read other threads too. Unless you educate yourselves on what the issues are, I won't respond to you both anymore either. Waste of time.

So you made a complaint thread to steer everyone up about avoiding the game, and will call us paid actors if we ask why while completely ignoring or refusing to give us the slightest answer as to why this said boycott is needed and instead refers us to more educated threads?
So in short your saying this thread is literally a waste of our time and we could/would learn more actual facts by reading any other thread? Because that's what I'm getting from this.

I am actually stepping away from this game. I just feel like it is my responsibility to respond to people in a thread I have started. That is why I am still here. When no more people show up, I'm going to call it a day. :)
