Lazy programming and now they also remove the only way we had to fix their crap. And what's the answer? "People abused it to cheat" and completely ignoring what people ask - removing AA that no one wants.

You've seen the forums, right?
The entire thing exists of disagreements with how things are in the game.
Uncommonly will you encounter a discussion that says: "Good job on this thing, devs!"
That's not to say i like having no graphic options...

Dude in a game you need to have graphic options , the game is poorly optimized , that's why people modify .ini files that allow bad pc to play the game correctly without any advantage but many disadvantage.
If they fix this and i can play the game again with the fps i had previous patch , then yes i'll say ' Good job on this thing , devs!' for now patch only gave bad FPS and apparently no changes on gen rush.

I can quote those disadvantage :
-Almost invinsible scratchmark
-Red stain barely visible
-Impossible to see the blood if you're on an outside map
-Eventually very potato graphics

I would praise them for their efforts if I could play the game and make sure those efforts weren’t wasted. I would also understand if this was a BUG, but this is intended and it has been a problem for AGES.
I can’t praise something that broke the game for me and a lot of others.

You guys using Nvidia Geforce experience and try this it may work. I don't have it so I can not confirm video is dated but if someone is willing to try maybe keep us posted. thanks

That’s your eyes adjusting. Doesn’t mean it’s better than having it disabled, sadly. Plus, the low fps won’t go away.

It doesn’t change the low fps, and when I tried to sharpen the game through NVIDIA it crashed the UE.

I can sharpen the game through NVIDIA Freestyle and it doesn't crash the game. Not sure why it crashes on your pc.

So, why can't we disable AA and vsync ect ingame if it's not to spite the people?

No I literally have a FPS counter that tells me I get 15 extra FPS with it disabled.

im trying to find a solution and and an answer from devs and forum staffs since the update has arrived but seems like i won't be able to find one any time soon. this game is unplayable without real game settings and AA on. im just sorry bout to lose my favorite game. can not play it anymore.

You know, most skilled game development studios would simply disable certain CVAR's instead of locking down every possible option in a config file. Which isn't that hard to do in Unreal, I should add.
This was just the lazy way of doing things. Plain and simple.

It's not about preference, I cannot play this game with your awful anti-aliasing solution because it causes me headaches. I won't be able to play your game until it's fixed.

And thinking that I recently found the right settings to make the game look somewhat decent on my potato PC, and now it's all blurry af again.
Seriously, we need proper graphic options in-game. Since the .ini modifications have been disabled, this should be top priority.

Haven't even played this game yet after the update but now I don't want to. This AA problem was pissing me off before, and now, when it cannot be disabled... Bruh

Wish we could at least get an explanation for why an option to disable it in the game hasn’t been available in the first place. Whether it wasn’t relevant enough (Which is understandable, but arguable considering the last patch), or difficulties with Unreal (Which I honestly doubt aswell).

Well, with AA on i have around 80-90 fps, with AA off i play with 100-105. A lot of fps actually.

Yeah, I believe that it depends how dense the geometry is in the map; on Lery’s the fps is unbearable, while on autohaven it’s a lot better but I still took a hit of ~20 fps.

I wish the game would have more graphics options like every other game, dbd has like only 2 of them...

I would love it , i mean with graphics option (we talk about a large panel of graphics option) no need to change anything in .ini files and everything is correct ...but yeah i've never seen a game with no graphic option to be honest

Please Peanits, speak to whoever is in charge with making these decisions and ask them to give us a way to turn off Anti-Aliasing in game. This game should at least have a basic set of advanced graphics options for us to tweak.

I know right , but with all the complains in like one day and with all the players who cannot play the game due to Huge fps loss maybe they'll react.

People have been complaining forever, just less because there was a fix; no game should force someone to go into its engine files to make it playable for them.

Simple fix would be a large panel of graphics option , so no touching the engine files.

I agree with this. This is the first game i have ever played on PC that does not allow you to tweak even BASIC graphics options. Even crappy console ports give PC users advanced graphics settings. This is just outrageous for a native PC title. We should at the very least have control over V-Sync, Anti-Aliasing levels and Frame Cap all from the games options menu.

There was this exploit (if you can call it that), that made the red stain much brighter and removed the fog, that was set up in engine. Basically, something that gives you a pretty big advantage. But yeah... something like an option to turn AA off should be a thing. I really hate the blurry textures.

I know this may sound like a shocking and radical suggestion, but here me out; Maybe add an option to disable AA from the settings menu? You know, like just about every PC game released in the past decade or so?

Just like they did with the DC penalty though (albeit slightly different), they forgot about also catering to people who did nothing wrong but sometimes need to use it.

While it's still not in game graphic option you can still and should modify you GAMEUSERSETTINGS it still works, you can disable VSYNC and tweak most setting individually.
The engine tweak allowed some people to gain advantage by tweaking redstain and fog etc, I think hence why it's gone.
If they remove the gameusersettings then Imma be real pissed because the game is unplayable if I don't disable VSYNC.

Doesn’t work for AA, but it does work for VSYNC. If you have found a command that works for AA in GUS, share it please.

If they do that, they should at least rework the settings and give us all the basic graphics options, like AA, V-Sync, Textures, Effects, Post Processing in-game. It's already annoying to go to the usersettings just to change things.

Just played a few matches with this forced AA and i already have a headache from it. People turned it off FOR A REASON. It legitimately HURTS some people and looks terrible. I can't bear to play DBD like this.
