This is an issue with Dead by Daylight.
I can play other games using Unreal Engine (newer AND older versions) on ultra without any issues.
Attempting to play DbD on low turns my computer into a space heater, and has now become unplayable with forced AA.

Yes this updated hit performance with a knife, even with a RTX 2060 I've sensed fps drops when playing on Lery's. Before the update everything was fine

Playing Freddy will feel like hell, now.
With AA on, the FPS gets ridiculously low the Dream World, it gets hard even to counter a simple 360 because you can barely track survivor's movements on close ranges.

No signs I can find of them giving a single damn yet. Not surprising, honestly. They tell us "We turned it all off for reasons not even directly related to the anti-aliasing." but they won't tell us "We hear you, we'll fix it." real quick.

Hahah well, I mean, they are. They're killing the game, the patch it's awful; a lot of bugs, they got rid of good pallets (killer it's ez mode now), Laggy ded servers (Devs said "I'tS a LaTeNcY iSsUe") and huntress still broken. I hate this stupid game now, they turned it trash

I literally only managed to play the game because it was possible to disable anti aliasing, my computer is very weak, but I was able to get enough fps to play and have fun now I get a maximum of 17fps with HORRIBLE graphics quality and that's not something can be considered playable. I'm Brazilian so I'm sorry for my bad English.

Or pay 500+ euro/dollars for a new pc just to play DbD

Waiting for almost two weeks for them to discuss this problem and then waiting for them to do something about graphics options (if they even are going to do anything about it at all) is way too long 🙄

They'll say that graphic options give you advantages , jesus dude I'll never get these devs and the stuff they do, we ask for something and they give us the opposite, always

so is a blendette with their dark and blurry default settings with aa and vsync,so is a 4man swf with comms,but do they do anything about?no instead they just hinder everyone not to mention your eyes health because of their awful antialiasing

Yeah , this AA is just terrible it feels like I'm playing without my glasses , I've never seen a game that doesn't have basic graphic options , DBD was the first one, the DEVS take an eternity to bring basic stuff

Does it really surprise you that the Devs who copy and paste lines within their own game and cause multiple issues across several sections of the game can't do simple things?
Did you look at the size of the team they have? Last I knew they had more people working on DBD than most companies have on a Triple A game.
They even got sued for copying fallout shelter and passing it off as a game they made for another company, but the copy of the game they used had a issue with it that was easily identified for the lawsuit.
Can confirm I have seen you argue with Devs and Mods.
Also not seen ya in awhile.

"unfortunately"? It's our own fault. "we" keep supporting them even tho we aren't happy about a lot of stuff. If we would cut down the support the devs would finally wake up and actions would follow so the support comes back.

I have the same feeling, there is no reason that a player with a normal brain would downvote it but there are plenty of reasons to downvote that from a devs perspective.

Is it just me or did developers did something that Nvidia filters don't work anymore? Like I haven't played for couple of days and now my game looks blurry again. I tried to fix it via Nvidia Freestyle and sharpen it a bit as I did before (it was my salvation), but it says that you can do it only in the supported game. Just wow 😑
