Why does the Wraith unclocking (i mean unlocking, uncloaking...) feel like an old clock?
Ding... slowly, slowly, slowly ..... wait for it ..... Ding!?!?!
Sorry to the group of Blendettes that I had to DC on but I aren't playing that killer until it's fixed.
Is this intentional? If not... WHO DOES THE QUALITY TESTING THERE????

This is something obvious that developers never mind QA should spot.
The grunting of survivors on the floor has been logged for months yet the furthest back it seems to show March 2020!
Think I'll continue to rant about something that should never ever have got into the live environment

I noticed it in the ptb. Has anyone actually tried timing it precisely to make sure the animation doesn't just make it seem like it? I know it seems like it but you never know for sure.

Sorry Boss I'm very frustrated by this.
I spent all my BP on Wraith trying to get back into playing stressful killer only to find a huge delay in ringing the bell which some people are saying was in the PTB!
I appreciate that the devs are trying to improve things but this is a huge nerf and now Wraith is unplayable for me.
Once I calm down tomorrow I'll probably be joining those long survivor queues so will be getting some DIY done in between games

FYI, i practically only play Wraith when i play Killer, so it hits me hard as well.

1,000,000 Blood points spent on the Wraith just before it was released into live.
How can it be tested in PTB, the issue discovered and nothing be done about it!

My brother and I just tested Wraith in a custom game, and my brother (who is a Wraith main) said that he felt perfectly fine. The bell DOES seem to be a bit more drawn out, but he said that there was no noticeable difference in actual gameplay.

can someone confirm if this is only a new animation? he feels slower, but this can be a deceptive perception due to the delayed second "bong"

An update for everyone: one of the devs mentioned in Otz's stream today that there were some unintentionally changes to the Wraith and acknowledged that they are working to be fixed. Essentially, because of unintentional camera changes he feels more sluggish, even though he hasn't actually changed. The ring of the bell does appear more spaced out however, creating what's probably a bit of a placebo effect where the overall uncloaking feels worse (when the overall speed has no change).
The dev also mentioned fixes to Hillbilly are also being worked on as well.

Even the progress bars are now out of sync with what's actually happening on screen so I don't believe them at all

um, do you not see the reason why? That would create a balance issue making it faster because he’s INVISIBLE and FAST while he’s INVISIBLE. That’s a little unfair. Wraith has add ons that make it faster anyways. Hes already OP. You get the jump Hit on survivors and either Go invisible again and walk away to find another unsuspecting victim (maybe run sloppy/thanat) or go invisible and chase the same guy again. Simple. Ez. Wraith add ons are what makes him.

I’m a level 1 wraith main and i usually play wraith 80% of my time on DBD. He is ABSOLUTLEY SLOWER than he was before this update. Uncloaking is garbage now and my favorite killer is Practically unplayable. If this was meant to happen very poor move. I’ll wont be playing for awhile for sure. It’s not just wraith who feels slower either there are others, i thought this was going to be a great update for killers, it’s one of the worst and I’ve been playing for 2 yrs.

Sorry I didn't realise every killer was OP to you. Your entire account must be bait at this point. Wraith is one of the worst killers in the roster. If you're going to complain about any killer at least have a valid point- wraith isn't even fully invisible.
As a red rank half-wraith-main, I wish to contest this in that me playing Wraith sounded different but felt the same. Uncloaking was fine, I got a 3k + hatch in one match and 4k in the next.
This patch contained only positive things for killers barring Nurse (double stun bug is back), Huntress (bugs galore), and Billy (don't get me started). There wasn't one single survivor buff this patch, and I'm pretty sure the doc rework (aka when they butchered hex:ruin) was worse for the game.
@andyollolloll Like I said above I noticed a difference in the sounds and animation, but the actual time feels the same from my gameplay. I don't think he was actually changed and it's only a visual/audio bug, not an actual gameplay one. We can breath again :D

I didn't have the time to time it, but it felt really odd, I was even using the yellow addon for fast uncloaking and it has taking forever. Something is different, not sure if the time or the animation, but definitely something changed.

Finally someone has the guts to call wraith out on his bullshit. My personal nerf idea is he has to pass a skillcheck when cloaking or uncloaking and if he fails he drops the bell on his foot and dies

Or if he misses the skillcheck, he accidentally hits his head with his clapper, killing him instantly.

I had this happen a long time ago a few times, which is just an issue with my wifi I had. The game would be laggy and the bell would glitch out.

It's clearly a bug, he's got the old 2016 animation but the actual cast time is still the same. So it's just a visual bug. It's not actually slower, i've already compared to pre 3.7 VoDs. The sky isn't falling.

I think the Wraith has Trapper's animations right now. I have a hunch the uncloak time changed to Trapper's default trap setting time

I did that myself and made a video.
If you pay attention, each video was set at the time the "uncloak" option was highlighted. Each video took 3 seconds each.
