Lag is making this game tiresome for me
It’s frustrating & causes so much inconvenience for me in-game. How long is this gonna go on? I’m a console player who’s been playing since day 1 of release & it still feels like nothing has changed.

I didn't have lag until this last patch release. It's literally making me not want to play as killer. I'm not sure what you're experiencing, but survivors are teleporting behind me when I'm in a chase and when I play survivor, everyone else starts rubber-banding. Plus the ping indicator is always red even though I have amazing internet.

I play both roles so I experience all the bull**** this game can throw at me.

I was really hoping that dedicated servers would solve the issue but unfortunately not

Ya I have been having issues since this latest patch. I play killer and feels like im walking through mud and my character is doing random little teleporting movements. Like I don't even know how describe what is happening but it's like not playable.

This new patch is hell sometime i can hit someone at the window and i see him down near the locker behind me im like ######### happen there

I'm having the same issue. But it gets worse: when I interect with an object, like when getting stunned by a pallet, kicking a gen or opening a locker, this weird movement increases, and then I clip through something and get stuck on it. There were two times I got stuck until the end of the match. Other times I was able to free myself by performing an action on the nearest object, but it wasted my time and annoyed me a lot.

I've also been having trouble with survivors teleporting when I down them.
And when I'm survivor I've been smacked on opposite ends of a loop lol. Like literally watched them hit whomever they saw and suddenly I'm injured.

During a match, I intended to make a fake unhook to try to get the killer to swing & hit my hooked teammate but the lag prolonged the unhook animation & I ended up getting grabbed.

i downed someone by a window and when i stepped through he was gone, then he stood back up the other side the map 😵

People complain about fps drops but I would rather have them than these stupid weird lags and sudden ping increase. And the most annoying thing is when they say that I need to buy a better Internet. Like seriously? 😑I have been playing this game for more than a year now and it only started when they introduced dedicated servers (however it was rare). Some folks even wanted to report me for cheating although the killer was hitting and hooking me and I died really quickly.
My Internet is fine. Like dude, I had several normal games five minutes ago. I begin to run and then I see this red icon in the left corner. But when I open ESC menu, it tells me that my ping is 60 ms. Like #########? It is definitely over 200. Whether I play survivor or killer, I just start to teleport backwards and can't catch/outrun anyone. Or when I try to hide behind the wall, the ping just literally pushes me left or right for the killer to see. It happens randomly and doesn't really depend on the time of the day. It's so frustrating🙄

You are lucky then :D I experienced this today when I was playing Spirit on Billy's map. I was stunned by a pallet and I was standing on it and couldn't move no mater what I did. Had to DC.

I can relate, nothings more frustrating then lagging right in front of the killer or lagging farther from a survivor that your chasing.
